Hired movers for an in home furniture move. I had requested two bedrooms, next to one another, be switched and agreed on a $500 - minimum 2 hour fee - with a $50 military discount. I was told they would moving the furniture from 12pm-2pm. Around 12:50 I reached out to get an updated time of arrival and was told 1:30-2. Upon arrival the 3 movers smelt like marijuana. The smell was so strong that it stayed in my home, downstairs and upstairs, for several hours.

Really poor admin behind the scenes. We paid for packing and moving services but the truck we were assigned was too small and packers ran out of boxes so we ended up packing and moving 2 cars worth of stuff - the actual staff that moved our stuff were nice but we ended up with over $1K in damages with no refund- I would not recommend this place

I used Off-Load Moving for a local move (two blocks) in September. The move was scheduled for two days—one pack and one move, and I was told that it could take less time if a full day of packing wasn’t required. The moving crew was polite and had great rapport with each other. They were thorough in wrapping and packing. Because I’d done a lot of packing, the packing portion was finished much earlier than estimated, and I asked if we could load the truck and complete the move in one day.

We set an appt last week (2/06) for today(2/12) 10am for them to come out a look at our home to do an estimate for our OUT OF STATE move on the 15th. I just gotten notified at 9am that they could not come out because of another customer or that they could move us out, but hold on to our stuff for several days then move. which seems unsafe we have valuable things and I wouldn’t want to leave it on a truck for something to happen to it.

I spoke to someone on the phone on August 1st to set up an estimate on a moving quote. We set up an appointment for August 3rd at 9am and I waited around for 2 hours until I finally called and they claimed they didn’t have me in the books. Do not waste your time with this company like I have. They are grossly disorganized and not worth it.

Briar and the team at Off Load Moving were professional, respectful, and reliable from start to finish with the move they completed for me. They communicated clearly ahead of time and provided an extremely accurate and easy to understand estimate of the cost with no hidden fees or gimmicks. Where should I start? This company exceeded any expectation I could ever have for moving, which is not the greatest experience. I first called in and spoke with Kendall. What great customer service! She made me feel like a priority when we spoke, asked about my needs, and scheduled an appointment for an estimator to provide a more accurate quote based on the size of my home. She even offered packing information as I was very overwhelmed. GREAT Customer Service!

best moving company ever. my husband and i were looking to move from PA to VA beach and we were very nervous for all of the major van companies we got quotes for based on the plethora of negative reviews online. as such, i asked for referrals from my realtor and was given Offload Movings name. i called their main line and was answered directly by Briar, the owner. he was awesome and let me know that all of the movers that would be involved in my move were employed by their company, no outsourcing involved.
