Small Jobs Moving Etc

So unprofessional, disrespectful and unsafe. They did not come prepared at all for the job. They were asked to move a VERY heavy washer and agreed to do it for $200. Marlon cursed and complained the entire time he was moving our washer. Yelling about how heavy it was and how I didn't know "sh*t" about moving and how we had the nerve to want something so heavy upstairs. How we should be lucky they were there.

I contacted the company to help me move some furniture into a trailer for a move. I had a couch, a mattress & base, a freezer and some boxes. I was told that it would be a $200 2/hr minimum and that I could pay by cash or card. Okay, cool. They said they would come at 8 am Monday morning (today). They called en route to let me know they would be there at 8 or a few minutes after, so far, so good. When they got to my house – a man and a woman – my mom greeted them at the door and they were not wearing masks.

I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE! Call someone else, unless you want to be disrespected and have your address and personal information put on the internet for all to see. Initially, they were doing a good job, so I didn't worry. Toward the end of the move, while moving a new piece of furniture from Haverty's, the man leaned the desk on two of the four legs causing one of the legs to crack. We all heard the leg crack. But they never mentioned it, and just walked out of the room as if nothing happened.

At first I loved the flexibility in the pricing however at the end of the day it came back to bite me. It's apparent they are new as I had to ask for confirmation, and there is not any type of receipt/billing documents. The owner was not professional at all in his tone/mannerism and was in fact down right rude when it came to communicating continuously talking over me. There were scratches on our bed frames and dining table as I felt like our belongings were not handled with care.

Not only did they complain the whole time but they were so rude to my stepmom and called my dad numerous names. Seeing all of these great reviews and having them be so disrespectful like that was so disappointing. I’m thankful that they moved most of our stuff but witnessing them yelling at my parents like that in front of my brother and his friends was so unprofessional and unnecessary. I don’t write reviews very often but I’ve never seen anyone be that disrespectful towards my parents before.

i called for an estimate, he called me cheap because they wanted to charge me hundreds more for my washer and dryer to move 4 apartment doors down. i’m disabled and i live off of social security i asked is he has his license and ensured and he got offended, very unprofessional. He also called me back saying was i sure if i wanted to cancel when we didn’t even schedule anything, he was rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional.

I promise you this is the worse service I’ve ever witnessed. The owners actions was so aggressive I feel bad for his wife and daughter as they have to be in danger! And I’m so serious! Try at your own risk.
