In their own words
Took them double the time they quoted to complete our move. It took them 4 hours to load the moving truck. Spent more time standing around them actually moving. Broke a light while moving, bumped into walls. Seemed like it was their first time moving. Could have done it faster myself
Hi James, Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns, especially since they don’t seem to match the positive experience you shared during the move. Our movers mentioned you were happy with their work, tipped them, and even recorded a testimonial video praising their efforts.
Extremely rude. Expensive and I was hung up on when I pointed out they were my current highest quote. 3hr minimum for a 10 min drive Edit: upon reading this review i was contacted and harrased by a lady because she did not like my honest review of this coming to one of the highest quotes I've looked for absolutely unprofessional STAY AWAY!
Hi Michael Trudel At One Day Movers, we take pride in providing professional customer service and transparent pricing to all our clients. Unfortunately, your review contains misleading information, and we feel compelled to address it.
Absolutely SHOCKED by the high rating on this moving company. I advise everyone to go through the poorly rated reviews to understand how this company actually works. I hate to say it but I think the positive reviews must be fake. The movers took SEVEN hours to move a one bedroom apartment to a new spot down the street. They only started to move at a normal pace once they got a call that they had another job to go to. I ended up paying over half the price of what they had originally quoted me.
Dear Carolyn **Not Belongs to our Company ** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. However, we were unable to locate any record of this name providing our services to you.
Price was more than double the estimate. Furniture items were scratched and torn and some were not wrapped up at all before being placed in truck. Movers did not seem to know what they were doing. Not sure how this company got such good ratings.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

I used One Day Movers for the second time (a year apart), and they continue to be one of the best moving companies in Toronto and the GTA. This time was a full house move in North York, and everything was handled perfectly from start to finish. Booking was easy, and Priyanka was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional over the phone. The movers arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They handled all my furniture with care, including a heavy antique piece.
