This was one of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this company—especially for long-distance moves. During the booking process, the representative, Joseph, told us that all movers were directly from Oz Moving & Storage. In reality, it appears they rely heavily on third-party companies to coordinate interstate moves, which led to significant confusion and poor coordination.
After writing a glowing review initially, I have to update and completely 180° my stance. My movers and packers were great, Oz the company and customer service were maybe some of the worst I’ve had. So much to add with so little space. Firstly, they told me my stuff would be delivered between a certain date, and it was not. Secondly, they said I did not select the option saying I could fit their largest truck at my new address so on delivery day I come to find out only half my stuff is there.

I was definitely not satisfied with the hidden extra charges. There was a surcharge for volume that wasn’t disclosed ahead of time and there was a 3% fee for cards that also wasn’t disclosed before the move. I checked my confirmation email …

I recently hired Oz to manage my move from Brooklyn, NY, to Southern California, shelling out a substantial $10,000 plus tip for their services. To my dismay, they caused a staggering $3100 in damages to my property. Oz's negligence resulted in the destruction of our daughter's brand-new bed frame and mattress, along with a 55" OLED TV that was previously in perfect condition.

DO NOT USE!! Terrible customer experience. I spent $15k+ shipping my belongings from UK to NYC. Upon arrival I was charged an extra $2k for delayed delivery because I live next to the United Nations and it was UN-week so delivery wasn’t possible. But worse, the delivery drivers got themselves a parking ticket and I was hounded by Bajo non-stop for weeks about paying the extra $100. This was after I gave the drivers a generous tip.
Extremely disappointed with the move that we had done. We were told “white glove service” would be provided but instead things were placed at random across my apartment without my opinion or preferences taken into account. Spent hours unpacking boxes that the team decided they could not find a place for. I’ve had movers pack me up before and found that they took more much care in where to place things and keep things clean and organized. I cannot say the same about Oz moving. I would not recommend this company.

I was so impressed with the entire experience with Oz moving. The rep, Askar, came to our home to assess the items and provide us with an estimate. He was professional, respectful and experienced. Between that time and the move he answered every question we had and set clear expectations for us. On the day of the move Emilio and his crew showed up on time and prepared. Again professional, respectful and experienced. They worked efficiently, quietly, and cleaned up the supplies before they left.
