I can’t even begin to express the DISAPPOINTMENT with this job. First and foremost when I spoke to SAM on the phone discussing this move and the strict requirements my apartment complex had, he assured me all will be fine and that Pals Movers had extensive experience dealing with such stringent requirements . I was quoted for $694 . He then stated that their minimum was 3 hours and I wouldn’t be charged “even if it goes into the 4th hour. We don’t do hidden costs. Don’t worry. We’ll take care of you” .

Stay away from this place if you value your furniture! The owners and there staff have no integrity or respect for your furniture. They tried to charge me 200.00 dollars for wrapping supplies that I already had. One of the guys used my wrap and moving blankets because they didn’t want to use there’s. They didn’t assemble my bed back properly and somehow they managed to split the wood on various places , also the wood is chipped and scratched. One of the guys told me to go by wood glue and it should hold.

This was the absolute worst experience ever. BEWARE they threatened to hold my possessions on their truck until I signed the credit card authorization even though they took a ‘deposit’ in the full amount of the move and their own documentation states not to sign credit card authorization until the job is complete. The crew engaged in a heated argument with my new superintendent, who accused them of jamming the freight elevator.

Not dependable! They’ll give you a timeframe to choose from but once they get your deposit all bets are off. They changed my moving time from early afternoon to late evening. Then the owner still thinks he deserves to get the contract price given. I tried to use local business, I guess I was wrong. My next move I’ll find someone who truly stands behind their business practices, which I found out that this one doesn’t have any. They get your money and make the time work out for them and not their customers.

My move was a nightmare they showed up 10:30 in the morning I found I had to call to find out where they were. The original contract was to pack everything which they did not do at all. They were to take old furniture to the proper dumpster and that was not done. They left thing in the apartment that should have been taken to my new place. They charged so much I probably could have moved out of the state.

These guys are con artists they gave me 1 price of 1400 to move 40 boxes and 2 tables and 3 tvs at 1st then the day of tried to add another 1200 bc the 3 guys were taking longer then 5 hours but they came the day prior to scope the job and never said it would be 4 more hours complete robbery I charged it all back on the card and now they know don't play with people I would not recommend this place

We recently bought this bed from RH and their delivery service were unable to get it up to our first floor bedroom via the stairs. The alternative was to lift it up via an indoor balcony which they refused to do. After spending hours with their customer service, we engaged the help of PALS. Their service was excellent, very responsive, reasonable pricing and on time. Hoss and Adam were absolutely amazing, very polite and confident experts in their work. I will 100% use them again and recommend them to others.

Coming across PALS was a life saver. This is an honest review and the owner was very straight forward. My girlfriend and I were in a pinch trying to find someone that would help move furniture around. We contacted him and within the hour, he showed up ready to help.
