In their own words
Never ever recommend this moving company to anyone. The worst moving company and customer services that I have ever experienced. This company moved my stuff in late December in the town (about 30 km distance) and they damaged my furniture and brand new mattress. I moved twice over the last three years from one city to another one (every time more than 400 km distance) and none of my furniture damaged in any of them.
I apologize about the wait time as our claims take up to 90 days to settle as this has always been our policy. We have never ignored a claim completely and always do our best with the timeline given to us. We have to submit everything to our insurance company then process it which takes time.
They overcharged me. They got stuck on the grass and took them 2.5hrs to get to the new place. They made me 3 hrs late to get my key. They broke stuff. They dropped my box that had appliances in it and grease was everywhere because of my deep fryer. I paid $1100 for 8hrs and they got stuck for 2.5 hrs of that time. They just put boxes anywhere when they were clearly marked. They complained that I had a lot of stuff even though I told them what I had. They took advantage of a single mother who is disable.
Hello Stacey. I am sorry you feel that way towards us. We did do everything as best as we can to help assist you with your move. Yes we did get stuck and we didn't charge you for that time.
Rude. Loud in a condo. Smoking between breaks and a very rowdy crowd. The first time we used them it was great. The latest crew were so unprofessional.

This is a second instance when I tried to use Parkview Moving Co: I DM'd an employee of Parkview Moving to request transporting some boxes from London (ON) to Halifax (NS), and my experience was terrible. The messages that I sent were ignored after an employee told me that he would get back to me to confirm whether or not they would be able to help and considering the amazing experience I had before made me think this company clearly doesn't care about those who may have less to move around.

My experience with this moving company was extremely disappointing from start to finish. During the quote process, there was significant miscommunication and I feel I was misled about how the move would be handled. When the movers packed and removed furniture from my old home, the planning and handling were careless. Furniture was treated poorly and their process even caused damage to the floors in my house. At one point, a piece of wood fell from the second floor to the first floor due to improper handling.
Ya I'm not sure about this review. Either this is fake or completely over exaggerated as you say a representative was making sexual comments!? I'd definitely say fake as we have not moved an Isabelle. Your account seems new with two 1 star reviews towards businesses?
I first contacted them on July 9th. As of August 17th, I still don't have a quote, this despite numerous follow ups from my end. I had to continually follow up and was told "we'll get in touch with you by end of day" or by tomorrow. It wouldn't happen, I'd wait 2-3 days and follow up. Rinse and repeat. I then finally got a home visit to be able to get an estimate. After that, nothing. No quote. I followed up. "I'm busy and will get back to you by the end of today". That was a week ago.
Hi Kate I apologize about not being able to get back to you. I sent you out an email stating the price of your move. I did send out your estimate through our software but I made an honest human mistake by typing a .ca rather a com.
They showed up late then had to rush because of an elevator time limit so they started throwing things into their truck. They didn't pad wrap anything so they broke and scratched my furniture during the move. Then had the audacity to ask for tips several times... Ridiculous! And then got billed for a 45 minute drive back when Google maps showed a 15 minute drive. Would not recommend.

These guys were fabulous! I had a move from NL to Toronto. They picked up on time, loaded up my things and were on their way in less than an hour. All my things were all neatly wrapped in protective blankets. Some items were not in boxes upon pickup. They quickly provided and packed all the smalls in wardrobe boxes. Unloading they brought everything to the basement level and neatly stacked boxes. They were friendly, honest, reliable and gave me a great price. I cant say enough about this company.

Hello, I am one for ensuring I post information good or bad, regarding a service or company. It delights me to rate 5 stars and review Parkview Moving Co. I have had 2 moves, one in Aug 2020 horrible experience (different company) - but the one I just had done was on Feb 1, 2021, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. First off from the first call to the company, I was treated so well, and the office staff were so helpful and relaxed but professional, Stephanie worked with setting stuff up for me.

This is the team you should trust with all your long distance moving needs. Was provided a reasonable quote, was provided excellent service from the movers from Nova Scotia and the movers from Ontario. I'll definitely be using their service for all my moves. My move was from NB to ON. On Sept. 19th/25, was my day for the movers. They were able to pick-up earlier which was so nice. Alex and Shaw kepted me informed for the move. I am a senior and moving can be stressful, especially a long haul. Shaw and Daryl were very pleasant, had some laughs, efficient and most of all professional. They handled my belongings with care as if it was their own stuff. The only thing made me nervous was my stuff was going to be reload off and on again.
