Worst moving company I have ever used. I had multiple items damaged. I would NOT recommend these guys, especially if you’re a female moving on your own. Some damages included a broken glass light fixture, a ripped leather bar chair, broken glass on a buffet chest, torn upholstery on both pieces of my sectional sofa, a broken door jamb and 20+ wall dents. Overall such a devastating experience. I worked so hard for my belongings and take pride in my home and these guys couldn’t have cared less.

The first time we hired the Personal Movers, the quality and trust was there. However, the second time we hired the movers, the quality was sub standard as I have STOLEN items, broken pieces, and my bed was not installed properly. When addressing this to Alfred, there was no responsibility taken on his part and in the end, we did not feel we had his support with what had happened on this move. I used their services to move furniture from Calgary to Red Deer. They damaged a beautiful entertainment centre beyond repair and would not reimburse for damages. Ask for a copy of their insurance policy and read the fine print. They will not process claims without first having you pay the invoice in full which means you then have no recourse. I would never use their services again. The move cost $913.50 but with damaged property it was $3,538.50. I am not a happy customer at all and would never recommend them.

One of the movers they sent worked so slowly. Then he left mid move because he was "tired". Leaving one guy working. By the time they sent another, my move was so far behind. Instead of about 8 hours, the move took 13 1/2 hours, and they made me pay for it!! Also had some damages that I sent pics, and it has been a week with absolutely no response. I’m writing this as the movers are still in the process of doing the job. Never, ever use this company. I was quoted just over 1200 for an 8.5 hour move, with the understanding that our floors would be protected by runners, and we’d have two movers doing a professional job. What I’ve gotten is two movers who did not put any runners down and have scratched our floors, have taken almost 7 hours to just finish loading the truck from our apartment that was packed prior to them getting here (the only thing we asked…

Employees work hard but are under equipped. They showed up with the truck too small to move a house. Our bed mattress was damaged ripped through the side and no one gave us a heads up. The boxes were labelled to what room they needed to go into plus they were told we are each box goes and Half of the boxes ended up in the wrong rooms. Billing was not accurate. Personal movers sure and some of the guys are great but really should go and work for another moving company. The company owner Alfred is anything but professional when your valuable items get damaged and takes zero responsibility. Even accused us of damaging our own items and freshly painted walls ourselves! The movers that took apart our furniture were not the same ones who were sent the remaining days to reassemble and had no clue on how to do that.

charged five hours at $135 for 2 young adults and a truck for a condo to condo move. Both condos had elevators booked off for them and on the second floor, elevator wait time was negligble. second condo was 5 minutes away, took the driver 25 minutes - found out this was the third time he had to drive the truck downtown. Promised floor runners, on the first load they didnt bring floor runners up and i had to hold the door open for them for 40 ish minutes.
