The only redeeming quality of our move (and thus the single star) was the positive experience I had scheduling the move with our move coordinator, Hannah. The rest of the experience was so disappointing and I still don’t feel like things have been resolved to my satisfaction. It’s unacceptable that a company like Planes, who positions themselves as a premium move provider, could 1) mess up scheduling by putting a job before ours, knowing that we had a required “no later than” destination arrival time that was out…

I booked their moving service through United Van Lines. The overall experience is miserable, especially considering how much reputation the company got. Packing: - The belongings were supposed to be packed on the first day and moved on the 2nd. However, they asked to do it in one day and I agreed. That is the first sign but I wasn't aware. - On the moving day, I was asked to sign the paperwork while workers are still finishing up packing, with the promise that they will do the final walkthrough with me.

We continue to get the run around from Planes Moving & Storage. Our mattress and base were originally supposed to be delivered 4/28 by 5:30pm. We received a call from a private number at 2:50pm on the 28th saying we were good to go for Friday 5/1. We stated that they were supposed to be here by 5:30pm today (4/28). They stated that a driver had been hurt and they could not get it to us before Friday 5/1. They also stated that they tried to get a hold of us earlier in the day, but were unsuccessful.

We used Planes Moving and Storage for a local move (5 miles) in Columbus, Ohio. We had multiple quotes, but went with them with the thought that they were a big company with a lot of resources. We came to find out that they use contracted teams for their moving services. I did not know this going in, but it definitely contributes to a lack of accountability. The teams were different people on different days, so there was a disjointed feeling to the whole process.

Planes moved us the end of June from Mansfield to North Carolina. We just now received our belongings just because it is PCS season and alot of military families move during the summer. The guys were very fast but not careful with our items.They did not list our high end items on a sheet nor did they label them. Our 60 inch plasma TV flat screen was just thrown in a box with no bubble wrap or anything we still have yet to make sure it works.

planes packed us for our military PCS during summertime of 2025 from Fairborn oh to monument co. They overpacked almost all of the boxes, and all of our garage items are just mixed up and broken into massive boxes as well. They literally didn’t carefully pack anything, just stuffed as much as they could in boxes. Even the movers had a hard time putting things upstairs because of how overpacked the boxes were. Nevermind the fact that my kitchenaid was stored upside down and leaked grease everywhere.

The worst place to have your moving done have had lots of damage. If they tell you, to talk to Kelle don’t waist your time does not answer or return calls. Would not suggest them for anything.Just a few photos I’m sure they will get removed. Still missing stuff. Also they lost a 387 lb safe???? They eventually figured it out!!!!!!!

I used United for a interstate move which ended up being with Planes Moving Company. I've had 3-4 interstate moves in the past. I would consider this the worst by far. I would not recommend this company to anyone. …
