In their own words
I used Platinum Movers KC for a previous move and had a good experience — the team was honest and worked hard. However, when I tried to use them again, the experience was completely different. Erik, the owner, initially agreed to a price, which I had written proof of, but came back a few weeks later saying he couldn’t honor it because they were busy, and then raised the price, ignoring his initial commitment. This wasn’t the first time he was difficult to work with, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
We appreciate your feedback and take all customer experiences seriously. Our fee structure is carefully designed to reflect the costs associated with providing a professional, licensed, and insured moving service.

In their own words
Excellent service. Responsive. Dependable. Very competitive pricing. We Hired Platinum to help move our loved one into a retirement community. Erik was extremely helpful and flexible in the planning and flawlessly executed the move in the rain! He and his team were respectful, empathetic, careful and worked smart. They were fast and were sensitive to those around them as they worked within the community. Highly recommend this moving company especially to those moving into retirement communities.
Thank you for the great review. We enjoyed working with you and your family.
We needed to clean out our downstairs family room, laundry room and storage area for construction/remodeling work. I found Erik and his crew on thumbtack and they did an incredible job! We had to clean years of accumulated trash and treasures out our family room, laundry room and storage room. Erik and his crew arrived on time and dove into carrying plastic bins of treasures that were to be stored in garage, trash that went into a dumpster and they loaded my SUV with boxes of items that were being donated.
I was moving out of a large commercial property and running out of time to clear out the building after my business closed. I needed help with several large heavy items and I had a lot of smaller items that I didn't know how to get rid of--I didn't want everything to end up in a landfill. Eric was so helpful to find recycling and donation solutions for most of the items. He worked quickly and around my schedule. His family jumped in to help too. I couldn't have done it without his help.
We wholeheartedly recommend Platinum Venture for your next move of any size. We first used Platinum to move some no longer needed furniture to a consignment store at the store's recommendation. We were very impressed with all aspects of that move. Unfortunately we had already booked another company for our major downsizing move. That move did not go well and the company fell far short of our expectations and left before the job was done.
