UPDATE: 01/28/23 -- After disputing the costs with my cc company and getting a refund, as well as filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General, I assumed this was behind me. NOPE! Today I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had an "out-of-the-ordinary" delivery. I wasn't sure if PODs could service the area, so I inquired on May 2 about a late June drop off and delivery. I was assured that they could service my delivery area. I made the reservation.

This business is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! There not responsive it take 1 hour just to speak to some one! I will never book a move with them again. VERY unprofessional! & NOBODY seems to know what’s going on with my order so when I call in my calls are getting transferred then I’m back to the main menu or the call gets disconnected! & nobody ever calls back… They don’t know what’s going on. The driver never time stamped my pod! Therefore everything is was done manually which is VERY frustrating & takes much longer.

I was charged significantly more than my quote without ever being notified of additional charges. I was not aware of this until my payment was process for larger than I confirmed my order for. When I spoke with Customer Service about this, they did not care if I had screenshots and documents confirming my original quote. I was just told there was "nothing they could do". And when I asked for an explanation for why the numbers were different, I was hung up on.

Horrible!!!! Our pod leaked a bunch of water and ruined a bunch of stuff! We called with a claim and then called again and they lost the first claim. We had a pod representative call us just the other day after a month and a half of putting a claim in and they said we have to speak to the owner of the franchise but they don't know the number that franchise or the name. Go with another company if you don't want your stuff ruined! Their customer service also sucks!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Booked a pod a week before the date and had everything confirmed. It is 7pm, my order was supposed to be delivered at 10am. I have received no communication from anyone other than when I waited on the phone for three hours on their 1800 number. No one in customer service can even get ahold of this facility or figure out why I haven't been contacted about the delay in delivery. They had no problem charging my credit card though!

For starters, there needs to be a Half Start selection. From poor customer service, to moving my container without warning, to missing delivery / pick up dates, to leaving behind a large oil stain on the driveway. Worst experience you could have. I will never use this company again.

They don't have enough help. They said the POD would be delivered to me in 3 days. It showed up 15 days after the initial drop off. After sitting in my driveway, loaded, for 5 days. They held our personal belongings hostage and charged us ransom to get them back.

Interesting to see only the 5 star reviews posted for first. The only positive thing I have to say about Pods is that the items arrived in perfect condition but I attribute that to the movers I had pack it for me. The overall experience with Pods was horrible and I would not recommend to anyone! They are not truthful about their terms, make promises when you call that are not kept and very overpriced.

In their own words
My wife and I just had a 16’ POD delivered today. The driver Javonte Hayward was very respectful, professional, and open to questions. We were notified 20 minutes prior to delivery, he showed up on time, put it right where we asked and even doubled check with us to ensure it was facing the right direction before dropping it. All of this happened, from start to finish, in 15 minutes at most. I will be using this company again and even asking for the same young man if possible.

Rick. He was on time, arriving within 25 minutes of the call for dropping pod. He was careful and explained what was happening. Nice guy doing an efficient job. Took the time to go over the Pod, pod door operation and closing suggestions, took pictures and placed in the best possible location. Thank you for staff that cares.

We had the best experience with PODS moving and storage. In my opinion this is the only way to move stress free! We could take our time loading and unloading and the app is so easy to just schedule everything on my own time frame. We were lucky enough to have the same driver from start to finish. Rick communicated so well and was the nicest guy! The manager Tyler was awesome too when I needed some help figuring out a drop off and pickup to make it easier and quicker for us! This is the best company!

We aren't moving or anything, we just needed some extra storage space while we do a DEEP spring clean. We got a good deal through Costco for a 2-month minimum rental. The order process was fairly quick and easy, and just a few days later, it's now in our driveway. They give a 3-hour delivery window, and called about an hour before they arrived. Our driver, Javonte, was very nice and professional, and placed the pod exactly where we wanted it. The whole delivery took maybe 10 minutes.
