You Move Me Cincinnati

This was my first time using a packing service, and long story short I was disappointed. It was admittedly booked last minute (about 5-7 days out). They showed up on time for the appt (Sunday), but thought they were moving me, not packing. They were kind and pleasant but had to reschedule as they didn't have the boxes I paid for. They said they'd be back at 10a the next day (Monday). At 7a the next day (Mon), I received back to back calls trying to see if they could push to Tuesday.

I was left feeling a little disappointed by my moving experience. It was a little over $1100 to move a studio apartment about 500 feet to another building, and I ended up having to move about 30% of it myself the day before and after to avoid being charged more. I spoke to another moving company that said they’d charge $650 for the entire apartment. It’s not their fault that I didn’t shop around more, but I think I just expected more for the price.

You Move me was great until I discovered they broke my flat screen TV...they suggested they take my tvs because they said if something happens that I would be insured well I normally move my own Electronics and because we were trying to go faster I let them take the TV they broke the screen and the stand and it's been over 3 months now and they will not own up to the mistake and replace the TV they kept saying they want to try to get it fixed they stopped responding to my texts and the office wants to pay me $0.60…

UPDATE!!! I originally use this service back in January 2025 to place my home into storage as I transitioned out of the military. Marlon and Asa were phenomenal. They were very professional and prompt. Because I had such a great experience last time I use this company. I decided to use them again when I moved into my new place.

I cannot in good conscience recommend "You Move Me Cincinnati" to you. They took almost double the amount of time to move me as estimated because I feel the salesman low balled the estimate to make a sale. They want to get you that low estimate to get your business. They estimated $539 and then came at me with $1,097. Then offering a “discount” to $811. They dropped three dollys of my boxes. None were strapped down or secured. Dollys stacked with six big boxes etc. And of course they broke an antique violin.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. They are highly rated because they pressure you to give them 5 stars before the job is even complete. We hired them to pack and load our belongings. On day two I was loading my kids into the car while my husband stayed there as I did the first day. The guy (Eric) asked me to review them. I wasn’t there to witness anything the first day but I felt awkward so I said I could. He stood there until I pulled it up on my phone and actually reached over and pressed 5 stars for me.

We had kind of a unique situation when we used You Move Me. We had them pack up our apartment, drive to another location, and load the items into an Old Dominion trailer as we were moving across country and this was a far cheaper option that hiring a company like Mayflower to do the whole thing. Anyway, I would definitely not use You Move Me again. The way they packed stuff was horrible. They stacked boxes so high that the stuff on the bottom was crushed and nothing was really stable (ex.

Update since my first review: At first I was very impressed with how friendly the customer service was and how they tried to work with my budget. Here is the problem that I am having now. They overcharged me $100 and I have called and talked to them maybe 3 or 4 times and each time they assure me that they are so sorry and will refund me but they have yet to do it. (Yes, I should have caught this before I paid but I didn't realize until after.
