This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with a moving company. My biggest issue was the lack of consistent communication. I spoke with multiple representatives throughout the process, and I received different information almost every time. I was told when my payment would be withdrawn, but no one explained that the payment would actually be taken weeks before I was even able to begin loading my container. That should have been communicated clearly from the beginning when I was given a QUOTE.

Use Go-Mini moving and portable storage instead. They have better prices, you actually get to talk to the human running the show, and they are honest about their service. PODS on the other hand left me stranded days before a home renovation, while I was dealing with an emergency health condition for my son. Bottom line is lack of effort and experience for the Bolingbrook PODS location. Don’t believe their PODZILLA clearances.

*Not Recommend* *I would stay as far away from PODs as possible* We rented a 16’ PODS container that sat in our yard for about two weeks, only to discover it was far too small for our household items. We canceled and rented a 26’ U-Haul, which barely fit everything and cost far less. Despite canceling once it was clear the POD wouldn’t work, PODS still charged us a full monthly fee, citing their terms and conditions.

My pods were just delivered. James was my driver and he did an amazing job placing the pods in my driveway. He was friendly and very courteous. He explained the process to me so I felt reassured about my cross country move. James is a great representative of the PODS company. I hope the delivery in AZ goes as smoothly!

PODS was a wonderful experience. In our move from Maryland to Illinois it was a no brainer to have the ability to pack up our things at our own pace and not have to drive it halfway across the country. Delivery with our Illinois team was SO SMOOTH. Rafael was kind, insightful, and handled our delivery with assuredness and confidence, navigating a tricky alleyway and driveway to a detached garage from a side street. He was also the driver who picked up our POD to take it on to the next family looking to move house.
