I received a text message with a link to leave a review on our experience with your services, even though I called and left a message and never heard back. However, we actually didn't get any moving services. My husband scheduled services on a Friday for the following Tuesday. But because our previously scheduled movers showed up late that Friday, we ended up canceling our Tuesday appointment only a couple of hours later. We were still charged $350.
OK so did we move you? or did we not move you? 10-09-2029 edit: Hello Rosalie. Can you please take down this review? We are not the moving Company that charged you. We do not charge customers deposits. We only accept cash. Cash upon completion to the crew leader.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- BEWARE!!! I call shenanigans on these positive reviews, because the man that operates this company and the movers he employs are completely unprofessional. Don't let the low rates fool you, but the price is one of the only things semi positive that I can say about them. It's been several weeks since my horrible experience in settling with this company, and I am Still awaiting resolution for the damage and overpayment.
The only pro is that the movers were nice. The cons are numerous. When booking with the company I provided a full list of every single item that we had and the total number of boxes broken down into small, medium, large, and extra large. The person I booked with guaranteed me that only 2 people and a 17 ft truck was sufficient for a large 2 bedroom apartment and an upright piano and the job would take 3 hours max. I was adamant that quote was ridiculous but he was confident. Fast forward to moving day.

I want to be clear - Martin and Sergio did an excellent job. However, be Ware that the owner Misrepresented how much it would cost, sent the smallest truck they had, (the guys didn't even have tape!) and my stuff had to be moved in My Toyota - Antique heavy duty typewriter, a highly carved mirror, a 40 lb microwave!!! AND things got left behind for me to keep moving them because they wouldn't fit in the car. So, when you see the price of $50 additional hour - it's NOT.
I explain the rates before ever sending a crew. It is the customers responsibility to understand and comprehend. Yes 2 movers 2 hours or less is $150 total. And $50 each additional hour. If stuff doesn't fit you can't blame me or my movers silly.
Would NOT recommend. Hired them through POD to move furniture and appliances to a POD while we had a house torn down and a new one constructed. Satisfactory work so we hired them direct to move it into the new home. Sad to report that our second experience was not good at all. 4 of them trying to set a speed record, all asking me questions at once. What took 2 hours to carry out only took 45 minutes to bring back in. They literally threw things everywhere.

Overall decent experience & price. Jeff who makes reservations and calls you appears very grumpy & irritated. Each time I spoke with him (3x) I felt that I was really inconveniencing him. When I called to book a reservation Jeff answered the phone "hello?" I thought I misdialed since didn't even answer with the company's name. Appears I'm not the only one that experienced this. FYI...they require CASH ONLY for payment. Very odd. Movers were nice.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY ! I hired Portland Movers Ready for a move out of my condominium in Portland. During the move, the crew damaged the concrete steps on the property. After the damage occurred, I gave the company multiple opportunities to address the issue, legaly. When they declined to share insurance information the condominium arranged for the work to be completed and deducted $1,500 from my security deposit. I submitted the repair invoice to Portland Movers Ready and requested reimbursement.
Sorry about this. Your HOA are some crooks. They tried to get us for some none real accusations. We even entertained them just to shut them up about fictitious "damage". They refused our insurance offers of "repairs". And they refused my personal offers of repairs with my own network and resources.
Was very disappointed in our service yesterday. Have used Portland movers twice before and had great service.Yesterday the two guys that moved us were very unprofessional the one guy was yelling at the other one the whole time apparently he was new and he was trying to teach him is what he said. They put a crack in two of our draws trying to carry to many at a time. They seemed to be taking their good ole sweet time.

I highly recommend Portland Movers Ready. They were on time, polite, hard working and diligent. Communication was very easy with them and they gave me a great price. I will definitely use them again.
We had a great experience with Portland Movers Ready! I booked the service over the phone through the owner Jeff after requesting a quote from the website, and he was fully transparent about what the fees would be and what services we would receive at each price level. Heads up, the business is cash only (Jeff was clear about this from the beginning as well), so just make sure you hit an ATM before your service date.
Best Deal in Town!!! I've used Portland movers ready twice in the past week first time I had them get all of my big things out of one apartment, King size bed, few big dressers giant recliner. They did great! Very quick and efficient in no time they had everything loaded into my new apartment next time I had them go to a smaller unit and get a few small things, tables chairs smaller couch and swing a few things by my storage then bring the rest up to my new apartment.
Excellent communication. Clear, upfront pricing. Guys were on time, and READY to get going. I moved into my first house last year, and it took me a good solid year to know how I exactly wanted to set up. In that time I settled into the rooms and needed them all switched around. It took me ten times longer to pack and stage everything than it took them to breeze through the move. I have a ton of heavy, sensitive equipment which needed to be moved down, and a couple of beds to come up.
