⚠️ Do NOT use this moving company. STAY AWAY! I’m not the type of person to leave bad or fake reviews, but I feel I need to warn others so no one else gets scammed. Money is tight, and it’s not fair for people to take advantage of customers like this. Aubrey at Advance Locators referred me to them, covering the first two hours as an incentive — but it turned out to be a nightmare. They had me sign an invoice listing their start/end times and stating they’d pay for any damages.
Used them last year and they were totally great. Very different experience this time. See attached photo; we had a solid agreement for daughter’s move tomorrow but last minute, totally ghosted. So weird that the owner, Navid, wanted to friend me on FB, which I thought rather unprofessional. Reached out starting 8:40am today to reconfirm… multiple attempts at phone and text and then finally out of desperation accepted his weirdo fb friend request so I could maybe pm to save our plan, but again, no reply.
We never finished booking your move entirely after we spoke. You did not pay the deposit and I didn't receive any of your information regarding the move. My apologies for any miscommunication. Have a great day.
DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS! After researching companies I chose this one because they had so many good reviews. Don't be fooled. The reviews are most likely fake because what I experienced was the most unprofessional move I've ever had coupled with an outrageous bill $816 and empty promises to finish the job. Below is my final text after complete exhaustion dealing with this company. "Ok. It's almost 2pm and I've been waiting for 2 hours since you confirmed Sunday you'd be here "around 12pm".
I am sorry you had a poor experience with my company. It was my fault that a stud finder was not on the truck the day of your move. I tried to make it right by coming out to mount your TV for free, to which you had agreed.
We hired this company to delivery 2 wall panels, 2 nightstands, and install a gallery wall. They completely ghosted us on the first day the delivery was supposed to take place after the client waited till 630 pm on a Friday for them to arrive. They were also very late for the pick up on the day we rescheduled after they had ghosted the Friday before. The client is happy with the way the gallery wall and hardware looks however, after the install they left trash that our designer had to pick up.
I am very sorry that you all were unhappy with the service we provided. Please tell the truth though, we did not ghost you the first day. We called the client’s number you gave us as the point of contact and he would not answer his phone.
Never ever again will I book with Navid. I booked 2 weeks ago I even called 3 days before the move date to confirm, their response was okay and everything is set. The day is here, their arrival time was 12. I called at 12:15 to get an ETA there was no answer. I waited 20 more minutes called again and there was still no answer. I personally texted Navid and got no response. Very unprofessional especially for the over priced service! We just wanted some communication and they failed to do that !
Mrs. Brumfield, your move was scheduled for a 12-3 pm arrival. You were expecting us there exactly at noon. I apologize for the miscommunication and for being unable to answer my phone that day as I was on a move myself. However, we did move you and it was at a discounted rate.
My worst experience with local movers. I would not recommend. Highly overpriced and very slow to pack and unload the truck. The business owner Navid McGee was very rude, aggressive and raised his voice over the phone. The movers witnessed how unprofessional he was and apologized to me on the side. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend this business to anyone.
My last experience wasn't the best. I've used them in the past and they were excellent. Never had any issues. This last move I scheduled, some of my items were damaged, no one said anything to me. The rate was way too expensive and one of the movers even told me the next time you need to get moved, don't call us.

FAST quality movers. I hired Navid and his team for a full service move from south Dallas to north Dallas. He was very responsive from the get-go. He sent me a quote right away. Was on time for the move. It took his team from about 9am-2pm to pack up my entire 3 bed/3 bath house. The next day he was on time at the new house and his team made quick work to unload the truck and start unpacking!
Navid and the crew of PD&M responded to our small crisis when our original moving company could not move our refrigerator. A fair price was negotiated and his crew safely and efficiently moved the refrigerator to our new residence. The crew was professional and experienced. As a side note, our original movers couldn’t set up the Sleep Number bed. We asked Navid to provide an expert to set up our Sleep Number bed. Micah responded on a Sunday and perfectly set up the bed.
Best movers ever! Manuel and Micheal helped me move out of a 2nd floor apartment and into a 3rd floor apartment in the middle of the scorching August heat (obviously not an easy move), and I was so impressed with how efficient and professional they were. The second they get there you just tell them what you need done and they IMMEDIATELY get to work wrapping up your furniture and getting everything moved out. They take very good care of your belongings as well.

NO DOUBT! If you want your move coordinated and handled by professionals in the relocation business without getting ripped off, "Premier Designs & Moving" is a top notch competitor. As a former relocation specialist/mover, I have never witnessed such professionalism in a local/short-haul move. In my professional experience, many customers are unaware that TRUE relocation specialists are trained to work smarter NOT harder!
