Premier Movers

Premier Movers misleads customers, damages property, and refuses accountability. Their business practices are deceptive, their service is careless, and their customer support is nonexistent. Save yourself the stress and potential loss. Several of the movers worked hard and some of them were kind but there were many problems. They assured us our furniture would be fully wrapped for protection but it wasn’t. The packing was chaotic and many items were left inside furniture, which was then loaded upside down.

Service is unprofessional Worst company ever, picked up my belongings on December 15/21 (Illinois)and when my 45 days of free storage was due I called and requested an extra week because my moving date was Feb 4/22, so I called again on the 8th and announced that was ready to receive my belongings, they arrived on the 25th and I had to pay four hundred and something dollars for them to unload the truck, most boxes were broken, one missing box.

My husband ordered Premier Movers for our move because of the great reviews. However, on our move day, the movers were 4 hrs late and did not take proper care or their time during our move. They dented our less than 2 years old fridge. The mover would not take ownership because he said he didn't hear it bump anything. They also damaged the plug. I found the grounding piece outside the front door the next day.

I went with this company because of the good reviews, but we had an absolutely terrible experience. Our oven, a few months new, was damaged. We've never had anything damaged during a move and I thought it would be covered. When I reported the issue they emailed me the part of their paperwork that states "we are not responsible for the operating condition or mechanical function of any electronics or appliances". That was after not replying to several of my messages.

Would recommend only for Short distance destinations & When the time is not an issue. Pros: 1. Being respectful & having positive attitude 👍 2. Carful about fragile items 👍 Cons: 1. Time management / being on time 👎 ( one-two hour arrival window could turn to hours) 2.Invoice and paper work 👎 ( I attached my invoice as example , in my opinion it is very unprofessional and unclear ).

If you are military do not get these guys. I cancelled my other service to get these guys since I was swayed my the high reviews and the sooner availability. To make a long story short they damaged my furniture and discarded it without showing me any pictures or proof of what they were saying. They quoted me for 2 trucks and 4 guys and only 1 truck with 3 guys showed up. The military base gate turned them away due to 2/3 guys having a criminal record.

This was a local move and was told shouldn’t take more than 5-6 hours. It took 12 hours with 3 guys! Would never do hourly again! 8-10 Boxes were marked for storage unit and they delivered them to our apartment. They wrapped wood furniture but was still scratched. Recd only the bucket of our shredder, didn’t know where motor part was. Things were broken off of chairs, box of dishes missing. We put our trust in them because owner said they had really high ratings. Movers beware and don’t ever do hourly!

Well just checked back and my terrible review and pictures have been deleted. I don’t know why Google deleted as I was giving a honest review. If you are planning to move out of state, think twice about using this company. A lot of damage done to sentimental items. Pictures were posted of an antique curio cabinet from my mother in law, with lion’s feet at bottom chipped, one of the shelves in the curio was cracked, my brand new printers inside glass was cracked, had to buy a replacement($350), shredder was dropped…
