Cons: - quote accuracy (paid almost double) - communication (no response to emailed list concerns) - unprepared (ie., limited box cutters, wasted time trying to manually tear tape) - unprofessional (talked on phone/texted throughout move) - process (most boxes were not labeled, wasting time trying to open and figure out where items go) - lack of supervision and training - multiple items were broken Pros: - two of the movers were outstanding, and highly motivated with a purpose - willingness to cover steps and walls

It’s a shame I used them before and was given excellent service 5 years ago but maybe their hiring as dropped significantly. Chris and his colleague took 8 hours to move a 1 bedroom worth of stuff!!! COST ME $1,177 WHICH IS A JOKE. They barely even put things together too!! Just threw everything in. Noticed a few scratches on the floor when they moved the couch in that I’ll get charged for along with my tv stand got the wood chipped, plants broken, and not fragile with fragile boxes.

Today is 5 days after move; two items missing, a pair of mens shoes and my wifes favorite Rebok high top sneakers, my shoes were taken right off the floor and were not packed, my wife saw mover going through bag in truck; we should have taped everything shut to avoid loss.

My experience with QRM moving company was less than favorable. It has taken me a few months to write this review because I too am a veteran and wanted to support my veteran-owned company. I was moving less than half of mile down the road which I thought was going to be an easy move. Not so much!!! I elected to have them pack and move me which was my first mistake.

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Like we have discussed, as a veteran owned company we take feedback like this seriously and I want to personally acknowledge that your move did not go as smoothly as it should have.

There were a lot of things that went wrong with this move. It started off with the quote that I received in the very start of the move. I was quoted for 7 hours and that would include packing then transport and unloading it was a decent price, so I moved forward. On the day of the move everything was good the movers made contact and were friendly and everything was off to a great start.

Hired them from a recommendation. Shopped around for different companies for an August move. They seemed affordable. Had the pre-screen call to determine the amount that was being moved. They did show up on-time, BUT once the two movers saw the amount they didn't have the right truck. So, one-hour later was when the finally were able to get things started, with the correct truck size. I lived in a high-rise condo community, thus needed to reserve the elevator with a moving fee.

We sincerely apologize for your negative experience and appreciate your feedback. It's disappointing to hear that the service did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the issues with the truck size, the handling of your belongings, and the behavior of our movers.

⭐ AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY AND YOUR BELONGINGS!!! I’m a 16-year active duty service member who’s done countless moves, and this is hands-down the WORST moving company I have EVER dealt with. I trusted them because they parade around as “military owned and friendly.” What a disgusting lie. They sweet-talk you with fake “customer service” until they screw up — then they show their true colors. They shattered my brand-new 86” TV.

Hi Juan, we're genuinely sorry to hear your frustration — damaged belongings are stressful and we definitely want to ensure we handle things appropriately. We did work to resolve this claim in good faith.

Quick Reaction Movers showed up for my move over an hour late and then proceeded to tell me that if I did not pay $100 for extra liability insurance that many of my personal items that were being moved would not be covered for loss or replacement if they were damaged during the move. This is a sad bait and switch manipulation tactic. In addition, the crew was ill-equipped with the proper types of dollies and hand-trucks and worked very very slowly moving my boxes and belongings.

Amber, thank you for reaching out with your concerns. We appreciate the opportunity to assist with your move last month, every move is as important as our last for us, and yours was no different.

From the first day I filled out the 'Get a Quote' form online, Quick Reaction was prompt, thorough, and courteous in all of their communication. They answered all of my questions (of which there were many!), and responded equally well whether via phone or email. Their rates were competitive and they were upfront with my expected costs, so I wasn't surprised at the completion of the job.

Thank you so much, Stephanie, for the wonderful review and for recommending Quick Reaction. We're glad our team, led by Stuart, provided prompt, transparent communication and worked hard under tough conditions to complete your military move.

These guys are great! They worked with us to solve our moving issues and got us moved out quickly and at a reasonable price. Their whole team was friendly and professional. When problems occured they worked with us to solve them. They let us know about any price increases up front. There were no surprises. Hire them if you want a smooth move.

The crew arrived and walked through the job with me to understand all the details before starting. Along the way, I added in some other items that I needed them to move and they took it all in stride and worked with me to make sure everything needed was done. That included staying later than planned to rearrange furniture in the new place to get it exactly where I wanted, and they put all the furniture back together so my family and I could start "living" in our new place quickly.

We are happy to help Bob! We hope you are all settling into the new home well and if we can assist in the future please let us know!

Currently in transition from an apartment to my new house and I used QRM. As my move-in date has changed several times and ultimately ended up resulting in my furniture, going into their in-house storage, Stuart was gracious and understanding and gave no fuss about my own uncertainty of my situation. I was assigned Scott, Dezmond (Dez for short), and How and we had a great time. Because my friend was going into storage, Scott kept a detailed sheet of everything that was loaded into the truck.
Reply from the business

Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for sharing your experience during a stressful transition. We're glad Stuart could accommodate your changing move-in date and that Scott, Dezmond (Dez), and How handled packing, wrapping, and inventory so professionally.
