QUICK SHIFT MOVING SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. This company caused major damage and distress during out move from California to New York. They lost a box containing sentimental items, damaged multiple belongings, and treated my spouse and I with the outright disrespect when we sought help. Their customer service was hostile and dismissive - Sandy and Ricardo were particularly rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Let me be clear: - They gave us no 24-hour notice of delivery.

Quick Shift Moving Inc. was contracted by a moving broker for my interstate move and I paid extra for a guaranteed delivery service. Unfortunately, they failed to honor this service. I was never notified of any delay, never given a reason for it, and at no point during the process could they provide me with the location of my goods. When I requested a refund for the guaranteed delivery service, my request was denied.

Quick Shift Moving is anything but quick. I would strongly caution anyone—especially seniors—against using this company. They take advantage of the elderly, inflate costs at the last minute, and fail to honor their own contract. My elderly mother contacted quick shift for assistance with her move. She was provided with a reasonable estimate over the phone, signed a contract, and was given a moving date.

If I could rate this zero Stars I would still prefer negative stars. Communication skills have been non-existent. I have been lied to scammed out of my money by brokers. I am from Minnesota and currently in a different state waiting for my items to someone who has not come to meet me, drove halfway across the country and also have flown back to my state because I was told my items were there. I will be needing to seek legal action I fear.

We would NOT recommend this company. Our first complaint is they did not show up on the day they were scheduled. When they did show up the next day they did not leave enough time to deliver out stuff to the new address. They did a terrible job packing our furniture. There were several damaged items. They also did a terrible job putting items back together after the move including stripping screws making it difficult to impossible to go back and fix.

We were involved in an accident (thankfully no major injuries) with Quick Shift Moving and working with them has been a horrible experience. The driver of the truck was in a hurry and at fault (oncoming traffic had the green light, driver had flashing yellow arrow for left turn but turned in front of oncoming traffic anyway) and failed to produce insurance information at the scene. One month later, we still do not have insurance information for the the driver or the company.

The pick up went well. But the delivery was terrible. They cut my mattress and ruined it, they broke a brand new display shelf, and LOST several of my items including a custom designed blue chest of drawers! How do you lose something as rare as that? Seems intentional to me that the most expensive items somehow got "lost". Got no phone calls to follow up and no one tried to find my lost items. They make you file a claim but no one responds and even if they do they state you get 6 cents worth of the original value!

The absolute worst. Run! Do not hire them. A month later we are still waiting for a call back for items they didn’t deliver. VERY large, hard to miss items. I’ve called several times a week. Waiting on hold for hours some weeks. Continue to be blown off. So many things were broken, driver late and said sorry but he was hung over. I’m told they “most likely” have my items in their “warehouse” but the drivers are too busy with customers to look for them. Ummmm. I paid plenty.
