Radiant Storage - Groves

As honest as I can be here..... The gate issues! It seems shortly after you move your stuff in the gate issues start. When you call to speak with agents they're rude, not able to help by any means, then place you on hold for 10 minutes just to repeat the same Intel. Enter your gate code, now emergency code, nothing. The past few days I've seen at least 15 cars and 4 uhuals waiting to get inside. Older occupants have expressed this has been an issue for years.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They not only increased the price of my storage, building, they added another $13 fee, if you pay past the 5th, they add a late fee of 21. and then a lien fee, of $125. on the 5th day of the second month, and send you a default notice letting you know that your belongings have been seized, until you pay a said amout of 390.80, but when I went to pay that amount, it was changed to $420.59 for 2 months, that I was paying $160 for 2 months for, when I originally rented the storage.

I had furniture in Reliant Storage on Gulfway Dr. Groves, Tx. My furniture was place in unit #150. My furniture was in stored for at least 2- 3 years due to relocation until my house was built. Now to go and get my furniture I learned that I had forgotten to pay one month. Only one month!!! When I finally reached someone for them to get the clearance they said to me that my storage unit was in someone else name. My furniture was auction off with no noticed😡😤 Nothing!!! I made a mistake.

I moved my items into storage when it was Purely and then immediately was notified that Radiant Storage took over the facility. I've had my items there for less than 4 months. The entry gate has been inoperable and open twice during my stay, both for a month at a time. Anyone with a bolt cutter could have a field day at this facility. The weeds are overgrown beside the storage rooms and it's clear that new management isn't concerned about any of the ongoing issues at the facility.

This place allowed someone to open a unit using my information without proof of identity, who then defaulted on payment. They refused to allow ME access to "my" unit so I could close the unit account and stop getting emailed about it unless I paid the fees for the unit I didn't know existed. I admitted I got heated and used a cuss word, and he said they don't condone foul language. I remarked "You don't condone foul language, but you do aid people with identity theft".

New Owners from out of state raising prices. Thank goodness had time to move belongings out. Reviews from before May 23, 2018 reflect previous and local owners and management staff. New move in special not worth the rudeness.

Worst place ever! Especially since the switched owners. Can’t get in the storage gate to get to my storage, then they tell me 3-5 business days! This is unacceptable they not gonna prorate the rent or anything.
