We cannot say enough about the team that moved us from Florida to Western North Carolina. Professionalism was the theme from our initial contact to our parting goodbye. There was prompt follow-up by the front office to the request for an estimate. The estimate was coordinated with our time needs and sensitivity to the COVID-19 issues. The home visit for the estimate was on time, efficient and professional. There was courteous and prompt follow-up response to our changing needs throughout the pre-move process.

I would highly recommend this company. They were very responsive after a disaster when a quick move was required. Professionally completed and at a reasonable price. I have used many movers and they rate as the best.

We were impressed with the overall business model. Our first visit was to review the furniture items being moved. It involved a brief conversation and discussion of some of the important pieces. Maybe 20-30 minutes tops. The estimator knew the exact number of boxes we would need even though we were handling the packing of same. Our proposal was received the same day. We had one other bid that was $200 less but Ray's came through with an itemized list of our belongings.
While moving my parents from Florida during a pandemic was a traumatic experience, working with the staff at Ray the Mover made things so much easier. From start to finish, staff answered questions promptly - in particular, Chris was easy and friendly to work with. My parents had a lot of questions and they always had the answers. They contracted vehicle transport for us, confirmed final details with us several times and on the day of, moving staff were actually a bit early.
