This company hounded me and hounded me constantly calling me. After deciding to go with a U-Haul because of price they called me again after the fifth time and said they could pick up my belongings move them to Michigan from Floridaand unpack them for me for only $300 more than the U-Haul. I provided an itemized list of everything we had and they said no problem. I paid a $350 deposit before they came to pick up and the. When they got there I was to pay $500 and another $500 upon delivery.

Real Time Relo – Dishonest, Disrespectful, and Destructive Review: Avoid Real Time Relo at all costs. They are not an actual moving company — they are a broker who outsources the job to random crews who have no investment in protecting your belongings. They lured me in with a low estimate, then jacked my bill up by $5,000 after loading my things, knowing I’d have no choice but to pay. When my items arrived, boxes were smashed, and several belongings were broken from careless handling.
When you booked your move, your original estimate was based on 1,264 cubic feet. On the day of your move, an additional 636 cubic feet of items were added, along with $616 in additional packing materials. This increase in volume and … More
The worst experience with a company we have ever paid for. They severely misquoted us to get our business. We had to move in 6wks time so we didnt research past their above 4 star google review. They quoted us just under $6000. A few days before the move they called to do an inventory over the phone and changed it to $8000. We had a few more things than we originally thought we would so we understood. The day of the move, they got there and upcharged to $14,000.

I was lied to multiple times. This company made my already stressful moving experience absolute hell. They quoted me what I said I could afford, then one week later after the contract was signed, they have a “quality assurance call” to go over commonly forgotten items and the price increased over $1,200. I told them I’d just sell the items, but they said I had no choice.

They use predatory tactics. Gave me an initial quote of $1693 the day of the move what I stated I had on the call and what they had listed for pick up were two VERY different things. Then I tried to condense items to have less and I swear on everything I love I still wound up having to pay and additional almost $700! Let that sink in I had to leave behind several pieces of belongings, condensed 17 boxes into four bins and was told I still had to pay more!
Thank you for your feedback; we always appreciate hearing from our customers, whether the comments are positive or negative. We would like to address a few … More
I gave a review with out the move being completed. First and foremost moving is very stressful in it self and to be disabled and moving from state to state is the worst. I searched high in low looking for movers that I can trust with my things. Because I use a mobility scooter to get around I didn't want anyone handling it. When the movers arrived I had spoken to serval people at this point. They came in saw what I had then the guy went to the truck he came back about twenty minutes later and said ok.
Thank you for updating your review. We want to address this carefully, as we understand how stressful an interstate move can be—especially when health and mobility challenges are involved. … More
Predatory with zero transparency Decided to use a moving service instead of doing it myself because I'm extremely busy. They skipped over additional fees and hand waive questions only for you to get blindsided later and then tell you that you agreed to the terms. Haha, okay sure. Ian was the most unprofessional rep I've ever spoken to. I guess speaking clearly and succinctly is not part of the job description. When I tried to elevate the issue after the fact I was ignored and my phone calls went unanswered.
We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, as that’s never the experience we aim to provide. However, we do want to clarify a few important points. … More
These guys are money eaters, they quote a number and after taking 35% of the total quote, The guy Ian took the box count and inventory count and told it will fit in 286cubic feet. After the actual truck came to pickup they quote a different number which is like 50% higher saying it won't fit in the 286cu ft and they add fuel surcharge. and 7steps is a stair. I believe Real time relocation is a broker, he is not actual moving company. Van lines is the truck name which came to pickup.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you feel this way and would like to clarify a few important points. … More
