Movers pushed back start time 3 times, then attempted to cancel. Told them that that would be highly unprofessional. Showed up 3 hours late. Spent the exact amount of manhours I requested. Attempted to charge 2x what was quoted at the end. Ended up negotiating down to 1.5x. Incredibly unethical. 10/10 would not recommend.
Movers we're scheduled to arrive at 9:00 AM; they called around 9:20 AM saying they had arrived. Went down, and they had not actually arrived. Apparently, giving them the address was too complicated, and they drove around looking for landmarks...They arrived and started working, albeit very slow. Movers had a tenuous grasp of English, and kept asking us if certain items were being moved, no matter how many times we told them it was all going.
Had it set up to move my stuff. They call the day of and tell they have no one that wants to work. Then wanted to triple the rate. I asked why. And the owner goes off telling me he doesn't want to do it anymore and to never call him back. You are a class act. And to your response. You said that you had the people you just wanted more money and would not honor your commitment
Sorry for this situation but you reserve this move yesterday and we don’t have enough people to covered you need to understand we are working with previous reservations.
The owner didn't want to pay for damage to dresser. It had some chips from damage from the move. He wanted to question me since I didn't notice it right away. It was about a week later. I won't be using them in the future. It would have been nice to offer to pay for the damage and not question me as if was I making it up.

Cancelled my move at 6:30pm the night before our move. No paper trail prior to the move and I was informed about the cancellation by text message. Buyer beware.

My wife and I relocated from Salt Lake City to Driggs Idaho this week. I checked out all the name brand movers, and the prices were similar. Then I happened on Jose and Red Rock Movers (SLC). He came in 33% less than the others. They were on time, moved us without complaint, in 100 degree heat, worked nonstop, assembled bedding they didn't need to, and by the end, I'm happy to call them friends. Could not recommend more enthusiastically.
They have assisted me multiple times. Jose takes care of things in details and his team members are nice too. I strongly recommend their service if you need any moving assistance. Reasonable rate and good care!

Jose helped me moved a few pallets of household goods from Utah to L.A. CA for my client moving abroad to Costa Rica. Despite the bad weather, there was a snow storm a few days ago, Jose was able to meet the appointment with my client. Jose removed snow and picked up the households from my client in Utah and drove all the way to our warehouse in L.A to drop them off. I recommend Red Rock Movers to anyone needing moving services.
