Please Beware, awful moving experience and very unprofessional, absolute rip-off. The moving day started off well, driver and team showed up on time. As the hours progressed they must have realized our possessions were not going to fit on the truck for a cross country move. The driver called another truck and told me we have over flow. He explained it to me that the quote we received under estimated the amount we were moving and the rest had to go into storage until another driver could transfer it.
Moved from Chicago to NC. The moving truck arrived several days late. Multiple items were damages and I was never reimbursed as as they did not meet the deductible. While moving in they had several boxe that were not mine. I told them it …

Extremely overpriced. I got an estimate and was charged more than the amount on it despite of the fact that (after the estimate) I got ride of two thirds of my furniture. Still I was told I went down only about 840 lbs (which is absolutely untrue). I opened the boxes to find linens and wc brush altogether (included a Casper weighted blank that cannot be washed and I had to throw it away because I am not going to use a blanket that was under a wc cleaning brush!), one broken lamp and another scratched.

I bought the most expensive insurance policy on my belongings, and it back fired in my face. They put a tv in a parts box with no protection and it was destroyed, when claim was filed the person on the other end didn't believe me even with pictures she asked the driver and wouldn't you know it I was right. A large item never made it on the truck I had to deliver it to them.
Steve and Angel were great help when planning the move and all the steps following. The movers were on time and very polite. Then the move...However, my mother's entire snowman collection never made it off the truck here. She also had three snow people that never made it here! Possibly left on their previous drop off?!? And a box with her glass dolphins were smashed. So buyer beware, I'm very unhappy and Mom not happy either. Will not recommend. Expectations were NOT met!!

This company believes it is flawless and when their mistake causes you to lose items worth thousands of dollars, they hide behind their flawed records to leave you worse off than before you met them. Even if you did pay them tens of thousands of dollars in moves and storage over a short period of time.
Beware of this company. Everything was great until the actual move. First they lowballed the bid so the final cost was 30% higher - this was after we sold several large heavy items prior to the move that were included in the quote. I …

I was referred to this company by a close friend, so I already had an idea of how professional they were. I still made sure to get a few quotes before I committed, and they did provide the best offer for my move. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and courteous, from the at home assessment to the drop off at my out of state destination storage unit. Moved from FL to TN. Tim Mento in the office was great. The packing team was good, no broken items, but the paper 😂. The moving team was great. Very nice, professional, and didn’t damage any items or either house. They were quicker to deliver than anticipated, and exceeded my expectations for the move and the coordination. Overall I highly recommend North American/ Allied.
