I have been waiting for over an entire year to be reimbursed for items Sidney Jackson sold for me in his warehouse consignment store. Not one cent received in a year. Completely unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable. He is not a trustworthy businessman.
My girlfriend was quoted $600 for a moving job. When I arrived on the scene the guys were taking their time, on their phones and I had to step in to help. This was a 5 flight walk down building. The job got done in 4 hours. If I did not step in to help they would’ve easily taken 6 hours and taken advantage of a woman. Upon finishing my lady was texted “you forgot to add gratuities”. She thought that meant it was mandatory.
The work was well done at first look, but found out later that my bed missed a couple of screws, as a result a couple of hours later my bed frame was back in pieces. The same thing happened to the door of my wardrobe (yes, seriously...) To top it off, the leader told me openly that he expected a good tip since this was a walk up, for him and his guys (2 more) and that a good tip in his book was no less than $175-&200 per man!!!!!!!
Dropped and dragged our nice sofa on the concrete (ripping 2 inch hole in fabric on the front left of sofa) and set our coffee table top-down in dog poop. Can't in good conscience recommend these guys.
Didn't want to take all the items out and expected to receive a tip and not only one of the guys kept asking, all three of the movers kept asking for tip before they left.

The S&D moving team managed two of my moves, and did a fantastic job both times. David and Sheik were quick to respond to each message before the move to plan logistics, and the team showed up on time. Everyone was professional and friendly. I was particularly impressed with Ness, who was incredibly thorough in wrapping each piece so it was well protected, while being quick and efficient.
I couldn't be happier with S&D! From my initial inquiry, Sheik and his team were incredibly responsive, flexible, and transparent. There were no hidden fees, as everything that was discussed was what I expected (and even though I missed a few items in my initial request, everything was priced fairly) . Overall, their pricing was very competitive given other quotes I received from movers around NYC. On the day of the move, the movers were quick and efficient.
Great experience with these gentlemen! Great service, reasonable price. Prompt, accurate experience. Will do business with them again in the future!!!! Great job guys. Highly recommend.
I am a bit late writing my review for Jon & Alfonso, who moved my classroom materials, books, furniture, etc. from La Jolla High School, on June 29, 2016. These gentlemen arrived at the designated time, were given just a few instructions, since they knew "exactly" what to do. The job was completed within the estimated time and stacked in my garage with no instructions, since they assessed the space and knew how to allow space for movement and accessibility. I was impressed!
