DO NOT USE!!! I am not one to write bad reviews but this experience was absolutely horrible!! Myself and my family have used this company a few times for small moves so after my mother passed away last year we called Richard(the owner) to have the washer and dryer, couch and dining table moved to my house because we sold my mothers house.
When someone is angry do not use I am not one to write bad reviews but this experience was absolutely shocking as we know things happen
They are totally unprofessional. I sent an email to get a quick quote and never received a follow-up from the company, so I decided to call them. The representative answered the phone as if he were at home—no greeting or introduction to announce the company's name—and I could barely understand what he was saying. He didn't ask for the information or email I had already entered, but he still told me my personal info without first verifying that it was me.
the foolishness! don't make sense
I called to get a moving quote and the owner because a bit short with me towards the end of the call. I politely mentioned that I would pass once I found the quote but he interrupted me before I had the chance to say thank you and goodbye. Moving is hard work and every company has its own pricing. But a customer representative should never become rude to another customer because they are not comfortable paying a price that may be high to them.
charity's opinion! true no one knows what financial situations people are facing. and i wonder what was charity's underlying motive after politely mentioned that i would pass once i found quote ?
Used the services a year ago and was promised a 20% discount on my next move. Reached out to them today and they told me they couldn’t move me cause it was no elevators where I’m moving to. DONT USE THIS BS AHH COMPANY!! They dont like money.

Movers said they only carried heavy dresser and bed parts in boxes up stairs. Movers said they noticed some boxes looked lightly damaged and two of movers said they noticed a board frame when pull from the box looked damage. They know they didn't damage anything by just taking items up stairs.
Ignorant, no customer service didn't even feel comfortable booking, talking at me saying "did you look at google"? As if I interrupted him by calling. It's a NO $180 an hr for that type of service is laughable.

Richard and his moving team were amazing from start to finish. I needed a move planned on short notice, and Richard confirmed everything quickly, provided clear upfront pricing, and offered a very reasonable rate. His communication along with the moving team’s were excellent throughout the process.( initial inquiry-pricing- day of logistics) -The moving team arrived on time for the apartment move and handled a difficult multi-floor move at both the pickup and drop-off locations.
Excellent experience and smooth move with Same Day Small Movers! Being in a real bind with a last-minute emergency move, Mr Richard and his team managed to accommodate our needs and got us taken care of the very next day. The team was punctual, professional and careful with all our belongings. They truly turned a stressful situation around. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone needing a quick, reliable and thorough moving service!
I don’t leave many reviews, unless they’re warranted and these guys 100% are. I called Same Day Small Movers in a hurry last night because the movers I hired didn’t bring a big enough box truck to even hold the sectional. I needed to move a very heavy sectional and some patio furniture to a friend that same day, before new furniture was delivered, and I was panicking. I called Larry and he immediately got 3 movers and a huge box truck to my house within the hour, and charged less than the other unprepared movers.
Very grateful to have found Sam Day Small Movers. Due to recent health issues I was not able to unload a three-piece sofa set from my truck and rented trailer. It was a Saturday around 12pm, so I sat outside and started calling movers off Google. Mr. Richard responded to my call quickly and went to work locating a small crew who could help. Within 45 mins to an hour, Larry and Ken showed up on their way to a larger move and quickly moved the furniture for me. They were very courteous, careful and responsive.
