Sammy O's Moving company loaded our ABF U-Pack trailer for a move from Ann Arbor to Albuquerque, NM. We hired a local moving company in Albuquerque to unload the items that Sammy O's packed. The movers in Albuquerque were totally dismayed with the utter carelessness with which the trailer was loaded. We found that despite having purchased rope for Sammy O's to use, nothing was tied down in the tailer. This resulted in numerous boxes of books being crushed and severe damage to a number of pieces of furniture.
Worst experience ever. The guys don’t know how to load the trailer. Job that could have been done in 2-2.5 hours, took 4 hours. Gave them clear instructions on the amount of space we have, and they extended 4 feet more. They didn’t even fill up the trailer space properly. Lots of empty - we are totally not sure how the boxes will end up at our destination. Just so unprofessional. Please for the life of you don’t go with SammyO’s if you value your time and money.

Please don’t hire this company. They don’t handle things with care. I packed all of my items in new double walled boxes, yet they damaged them. Also they took 4 hours for a 2 hours move. I did move with same number of boxes year ago to this place and hired a different helper, who completed the task of loading the truck in 2 hours or less and even the unloading as well. But this guys, they don’t have experience with moving / loading the trailer. I am literally worried about my stuff until I unload it and see.

You get what you pay for. Started by forgetting about the appointment. Ok, things happen. Finally 1.5 hours later they show up in a small truck. The workers moved slowly and had to tightly pack the truck to the brim. I even pitched in to move things along! Took 5.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom condo. Pay the extra money for professionals.

SammyO's is great! Sammy and his crew were professional, punctual, and careful with my belongings. The team worked efficiently and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them for a move.
I booked with Sammy over a month ago, and he was responsive, professional and kind. We had 1550 sq ft of furniture and boxes, half of it in our garage still packed. Overall, the job was complete, and I can't fault Sammy for not being able to fit two large pieces of furniture into the new home. This said, the start of the loading process was rushed without much planning -- a couple of boxes hadn't even been taped but the crew grabbed and loaded them as they were.

Sammy is OUTSTANDING! He and his crew were professional, courteous, and prompt. They were careful with my things when loading up, and loaded out with care. If you're interested in working with an actual small business, when you call SammyO's, you get sammy. He shows up. He and his crew are local. They are open later, and cost less; you can't go wrong. Would absolutely recommend, and will use again, if and when the time comes. 10/10.
I hired SammyOs to off-load an out of state move. They were prompt, worked hard, professional, and most important caring. I knew I hired the right company when they put down floor pads to wipe feet and wrapped wall corners to avoid damage. They were super helpful to let me know about damage found from improper packing by Thunder Moving in Oklahoma City.
