The movers did an excellent job so no complaints there! However, I found the hidden charges outside of the agreed quote questionable! I ended up paying a 40% premium because of those fees. Highly recommended to scrutinize the quote beforehand. Let's face it - what can you do when they start tacking on charges on the spot with your stuff - forgo your deposit and rearrange another mover?
Any feedback is valuable to us, Puxin, however, the above information is misleading. The $60.00 overcharge for late start of the job, which was an exception as we do not start that late, was discussed initially and it's indicated in the booking confirmation.

Just finished up an office move with SEMS Moving. I called them earlier this week and they were able to accomodate an early AM move out required by my building, just 2 days later. They arrived on time. Victor in the office was great at communicating prior to move day with me and my building manager. My team were friendly, professional and efficient at moving all my stuff. The whole thing was seamless, and priced as quoted. Perhaps there are cheaper movers, but you get what you pay for.

She told me if I had any questions don't hesitate to call her back. Once I decided to go with SEMS I met Drago, Mike and Alfredo on moving day. They introduced themselves and after a quick tour went to work.

Updated Review/Comment: So I am actually impressed with SEM's customer care. They saw my Google review (original review below) and contacted me back, went over the hours the movers charged me for the initial move and returned me back the money charged for 30 min. I honestly wasn't too concerned about the movers charging me more because they did a very good job moving all my stuffs and were on time on both the 1st and 2nd moves; but I was just impressed that they actually read my review and concerns and contacted…

Moving on up! That's right I moved into my dream home with the help of SEMS Moving this last month. What an overall amazing customer service experience. From the fast quote response from Alex who was prompt to return my call and explained every detail possible to ensure I understand each process. Her follow through and check in prior to the move was right on time. He was even easy to accommodate a last minute change in schedule due to my move out day being pushed back.
