UPDATE: This last move did not go as well as our previous ones. They sent a team of three for our move. Two of them were extremely professional. I observed the third worker using his foot to kick several of my belongings that had fallen out of a box he packed (and were in his way). I also observed him dragging our brand new Scandinavian Designs wooden bed frame over a metal air vent, badly damaging the side of it.

I spoke with the owner to get an estimate and he pretty much yelled at me because he said I was asking too many questions. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. Don t Bother with this company..
Not a Shannon customer. This is alarming. This person did not call our company and must be mistaken. They must have the wrong company we would never conduct ourselves in this manner. We appreciate every potential customer and treat everyone with the utmost respect.
Piss off your new neighbors when these guys disable both of the elevators to move your stuff, leaving all residents that cannot use the stairs stuck until building maintenance arrives Edited for owner’s response: I am talking about the movers turning both elevators to “service” mode. The norm is to utilize one elevator in this capacity, but they turned both elevators to this mode so that only they could use both of the elevators.
Lauren in fairness we cannot be held accountable for unmaintained elevators! Sorry.
If you’re going to have your trucks driving through the city please make sure they are respectful. Two drivers today were whistling at women walking, I stated that was inappropriate and they flipped me off. Guess I’ll never be calling you for moving help. License plate 6214382
Hi Guillermo, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We checked the license plate with our records. This truck was sold in 2024 to a private seller. They said they would take our branding off the vehicle but evidently never have.

I first used Shannon Moving for a last-minute move from my two-bedroom apartment to a storage unit in May 2026. I was incredibly stressed because of the tight timeline, but their excellent communication immediately put me at ease. Robert and his moving team arrived on time and were incredibly efficient, professional, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. They handled everything with great care, making what could have been a very stressful move feel seamless.
We know how stressful a last-minute move can be, especially when you need to put everything into storage, so we're really glad we could make the process easier for you. Keeping your belongings safe and giving you peace of mind while they're in storage is something we take seriously.

I first used Shannon Moving in July 2021 for a last-minute move out of a 3-story Victorian walk-up. I was stressed about the tight timeline and the narrow, steep stairs, but the team was incredible. They arrived right on time, remained completely unfazed by the walk-up, and handled all of my large, bulky furniture with total ease and speed. They are incredibly efficient, professional, and genuinely a pleasure to work with.

I had the absolute best expereince moving with Shannon M&S. The crew was super accomadating, professional, and efficient. The team made an additional stop to pick up a large 3-piece sectional couch and the three movers all took one of the pieces themselves down 3 flights of stairs (I was amazed). When we arrived to the drop off location the alley to the garage was tight for a 26' truck and had some low hanging trees, but the crew handled it like they've done it a million times and grabbed brooms to ensure no trees…
