This was the worst moving experience of our lives. Once the boss left only one of the 4 worked the majority of the time. They cussed, (in front of our young grandchildren), played on their phones, played loud music. We were splitting 1 household into 2 & everything was separated, yet they still managed to mix things up. It's been months & I still can't find several items, even though I've found items they were packed with. My granddaughter's school laptop disappeared that day.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that this was your experience. This move took place in August, and while that does not lessen your frustration, it’s important context. This review does not reflect the standard of service we strive to provide or what the vast majority of our customers experience.
Terrible communication. Delivery was over 3 weeks late. I won't order from home depot again because of this third party Delivery company.
THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I hired “Professional” movers to come into my home & move EVERYTHING we had to our new house! They were on time & Polite! All 3 gentleman had a note to wear their mask- none wore them because they said they were vaccinated. Who cares! My house, my rules! They complained about me having a California king size bed because it’s heavy, complained about how big my washer and dryer were because they are on pedestals! They complained about everything.

I had a fantastic experience with this moving company from start to finish. Their pricing was very fair and transparent, which immediately put me at ease. The owner Ayrik was extremely professional, communicated clearly throughout the process, and genuinely made me feel confident and taken care of. On moving day, the crew leader Ryan and his team showed up right on time with great attitudes. They were delightful to work with—friendly, respectful, and incredibly careful with my belongings.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with our moving crew. Tristan was our lead mover and he was incredible from start to finish. He kept everything organized, led his crew extremely well, and somehow managed to get our entire move finished in less time than we were originally quoted. What really stood out to us was their attitude the entire day. It was hot, they were working incredibly hard, and it never seemed to faze them. Everyone was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely kind to my family.
Everyone who has a move planned needs to contact Show Me Movers. Don’t give a second thought to getting competitive bids; this is one-stop shopping! This exceptional company just completed a large and gnarly move for me. Bulky, cumbersome furniture - king size bed, two super-size armoires, heavy-duty antique oak desk. Several antique wicker pieces. Lots and lots of boxes from very large to small and delicate. A multitude of clothing racks.
I had an excellent experience with Show Me Movers from start to finish — truly some of the best movers in Kansas City. The entire process was smooth and professional. They showed up right on time in clean uniforms and immediately walked through the game plan with me before getting started. We were moving from a two-story home into a new place across town, and I was honestly nervous about a few larger items — especially a heavy sectional, a king bedroom set, and a glass dining table.
