The worst. Do you want to be over-charged and your property damaged? The movers had no idea how to properly load a truck. They scratched my walls and damaged two dressers. They broke the leg off. I moved from the Bay Area with workers driving their truck for less than it cost to move from north to south Eugene. That’s insane. Nearly $1,000. More than double what I’ve ever been charged in the many places I’ve lived. I’ve hired movers countless times and these were the slowest, least efficient & most expensive.

We're sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your move. We take great pride in providing quality service, and we want to address the concerns raised. We offered to repair the damaged dressers and were ready to visit your home to make things right, but we were unable to do so as we were…

Skinny Wimp came highly recommended to us by several people for our last move a few years ago. Our closing date changed last minute, so we had to go with a different company for that move. We were excited to be able to use them for this move. Booking was easy, and we had no issues prior to the move. The day came and they were on time, and ready to go. We had high hopes. Unfortunately we were disappointed quickly. Maybe we had higher expectations due to using a competing company prior.

We were scheduled for 2 PM. They let us know that their first job had more than they were expected and so ours got delayed until 430. This was very inconvenient because we were moving our mother into our home and our father into an assisted living place. We ended up having to do all of the things with our mother on our own, and they only were able to do for our father.

The guys were very friendly however the price I was quoted on the phone was much lower than the actual bill. They were on job sight for 20 min and even with drive time, it's still less than 2 hours. I was quoted $353.10 and the Bill was $441.38. My wife complained and they dropped it to $379.52. Still $26 more than quoted.

I have called them 5 times in the last 6 days. They have never answered the phone. I've left two messages and have received no response or follow up.

The young men who moved my things were very nice, but I feel like I need to talk about what I experienced... I recently moved all of my belongings in a pod, and I hired Skinny Wimp Movers to empty the pod and bring things to my apartment. I was sitting in the car with my friend, watching them load up the truck when when one of the young men basically wrapped his arms around my dryer (bear hug style) and started running up the ramp with my dryer.

The movers were fantastic and polite. They did a great job keeping my things in tact and were thoughtful in where they set all items. It may be because they padded the furniture so carefully that it took longer than it usually takes me, my brother, partner and son to move (we’ve had to 3 times this year). But because of how long it took to move (my 3 bedroom apartment in Springfield to a 3 bedroom apartment in Eugene) it cost me $950.

They were 15 minutes late to my house. I had to call them and ask where they are at. They were constantly asking how I got my stuff into my place. Almost dropped my dog kennel Entertainment center in mid air. Which is the one thing I said be careful with. When we got to the storage unit, they were surprised on the size of the unit. Which is 6 by 12 unit. I told them that before they started moving stuff what the size was. I would not hire them ever again or will not suggest them to anyone.

I truly cannot recommend Skinny Wimp Moving Company enough. From my very first email, Katie in the office was absolutely wonderful — always responding promptly, thoroughly, and patiently answering all of my questions. Her communication made the entire planning process feel clear and stress-free from the beginning. Colton and Wyatt handled my interstate move from Oregon to Arizona, and they were incredible. They were professional, kind, organized, and extremely careful with everything.

Monica… this truly means so much! Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. It was an absolute pleasure helping you coordinate everything from the start and I’m so glad the move to Arizona went smoothly!

Exceedingly fast, exceedingly professional, absurdly efficient. When a communication error resulted in a good amount of extra work, they didn't hesitate. Called in a third Wimp and took care of things with no issue. Nothing broken, nothing lost, not a moment wasted, I am in awe. Very fair pricing for the hustle and the quality. 11/10. Thank you guys!

I’ve never had such a great experience with movers. Not even close. Bobby and Wyatt showed up promptly at the scheduled arrival time. I gave them a rundown of the stuff I needed moved and they immediately got started. They literally rolled out red carpet to protect my floor! I’ve never seen movers who took such good care of the stuff they’re moving. They wrapped everything in pads, even the couches. All of the items were carefully placed in the truck and secured.

Wade, wow! Thank you for such an incredible review! We’re so glad Bobby and Wyatt made such a strong first impression (and yes, they take that floor protection seriously, haha!). It means a lot that you noticed the care and attention they put into every step, from wrapping and loading to the final…

My realtor recommended Skinny Wimp Moving and they were awesome. Bobby, Dustin, and Xaiden showed up on time and were so polite, friendly and respectful of our belongings. Bobby is a true Tetris champion and had the truck packed to the ceiling and left no space unfilled. As the truck was filling up it was clear that all our junk was not going to fit in one load. Bobby started asking me which items were a priority to get on the truck and I really appreciated that.

Thank you so much, Melanie! We’re thrilled to hear that your move went so smoothly and that Bobby, Dustin, Xaiden, Wyatt, Erick, and Josh all helped make it a great experience from start to finish. We love hearing how our team goes the extra mile - from careful packing to plant care!
