In their own words
The movers did not wear any protective gear (mask or gloves). They arrived tired and in their haste to finish quickly they dropped several of my boxes and dumped my blankets and pillows on the ground. Overall they seemed nice but unprofessional.
With all due respect, Seth.. You did not wear protective gear as well. I will admit we were a bit tired. We had 2 moves ahead of yours and your move was scheduled at the hottest part of the day. As for the unprofessional part.. Most of your boxes were open and in older condition.
These guys are NOT licensed to move household goods in Oregon! I was suspicious when my elderly neighbors told me that they used WDA for their move and were required to pay with cash. I then saw a review on Yelp about price gouging and not being licensed so I looked into it myself. They are not listed on the ODOT website as being authorized movers. I called ODOT and learned that movers in the state are regulated for the protection of consumers.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take such concerns seriously and have thoroughly investigated the matter. WDA Movers is fully licensed and authorized to operate in Oregon.
We were moving to another town, so we left 15 minutes early to race over there and meet them and they just stopped working. They left more than a 10th of our things there which put us in a terrible bind. We were moving out of the country and just storing our stuff in another town so imagine how difficult it was on the last day before we fly out of town having to pack up and find a place for more than a 10th of our belongings. Things were just scattered everywhere and it was insane. Do not choose these guys.

I looked at Craigslist, then checked online reviews and called several movers. Along with others I called, WDA said they were legal and had their own trucks. I was skeptical and wasn't sure who to use, so I checked with ODOT. These guys are not a legal moving company!

These movers are AWESOME!! They helped us twice: once to stack items from a 26ft UHaul into a storage unit; and once to unload my mother-in-law’s belongings from a UHaul into her new senior community apartment. Both times, the (two different) teams communicated well, were on time, and worked fast, carefully, respectfully, and with can-do positivity. Moving can be SO stressful. Lonnie and Vic moved a piano of ours to another home and on a second job moved all our heavy furniture into a storage locker while we build. They were exceptionally careful, especially with two antiques we have one of which is a heavy, yet fragile piece estimated to be over 150 years old. Everything was done on time without damage.

I plan to use WDA Movers when I move in the future. The company did a small move for me recently and took great care with a glass topped coffee table and full sized sofa. The two movers were fast but still careful, with attention to detail. The company was easy to work with and responded quickly when contacted. This is most definitely the moving company you want to hire. Second move using WDA Movers: WDA Movers moved all of the belongings from my former home to my new residence.
