UPDATE to Original Post: Company is under new management as of this summer and my recent experience when it was time to get my furniture out of storage and shipped to Colorado was less than positive. Sloan is a contractor with National Van Lines for long distance moving and the actual delivery of my furniture was a nightmare- see review on National Van Lines. However, at the time of the move to storage the driver explained the insurance options.
Thank you so much for the kind words Esther, can't tell you how much we have enjoyed working with you and appreciate your business!

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
In short – I had an amazing experience with Danny and his team. I shopped around and knew I found my guy when he was the only person who picked up the phone, called, emailed, and texted. He was honestly interested in keeping my possessions safe and also wanted to provide as accurate of a quote as possible. After speaking with him about what needed to be moved he asked for pictures – which I texted to him and a quote soon followed. What he the most expensive? No. Was he the cheapest? No.

We recently used Sloan’s moving and storage for the second time, and somehow they managed to exceed our already high expectations. The first time we hired them, I was genuinely impressed by their incredible work ethic—especially Roberto, who stood out for his professionalism and dedication. Because of that great experience, we didn’t hesitate to call them again. This second move was even better. Roberto, Dennis, Cristian, Raul, and Corey were an outstanding team.
Hi Nixida, Thank you so much for trusting Sloan’s Moving & Storage not once, but twice! That truly means the world to us. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about Roberto, Dennis, Cristian, Raul, and Corey.
Sloan helped us with a relatively local move and the experience was smooth and as painless as moving can be. The team we worked with - Kevin G., Edilsoa Q., and Eduardo S. - were polite, efficient and effective. There were no surprises in the final cost. It was an overall great deal and I’ll be using Sloan again… but hopefully not too soon ;-)
Thanks a bunch for the kind review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great experience. We hope you’ve found your forever home, but if you ever need anything else, don’t hesitate to give us a call!
All I can say is Wow, Wow, and WOW! I have completed several moves over the last 25 years - and this move with Sloan's completely exceeded my expectations and was by far the best one yet! On top of all this, their price was the best after I did quite a bit of research! From my first call with Francisco to do the estimate on my move to the completion, it was a first class experience! Francisco was a great point of contact throughout the entire move and we even completed my inventory via Facetime!
Hey Joshua, thanks a bunch for this five-star review and all the comments about Sloan’s moving and storage. We really appreciate you and your wife choosing us to help you move your stuff. We’re so glad we could make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible, from start to finish.
