In their own words
I do not recommend this company for moving. The 4-5 hour moved turned into an 8 hour day. The movers were an hour late! The rented Penske small truck was dirty. The two gentlemen that moved my daughter where very nice but had limited resources to properly wrap/cover the furniture which caused dirt and debris to get all over the cream color sofa, ottoman and bar stools. The owner of the company, Mr. Folk, was worthless when addressing the issue and resolution on the dirt and debris on my daughters furniture.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish! I had a fantastic experience with Small Moves and Delivery. The team, especially Shakeim was punctual, professional, and handled all my belongings with care. He was efficient but still attentive to details, ensuring nothing was damaged during the move. Communication was great throughout the process, and their pricing was transparent with no hidden fees. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a stress-free!
We used the moving services of Small Moves and Delivery (Alexandria, VA) this weekend. From start to finish, Mr. Folk and his team were excellent. They responded promptly, provided a clear and fair price quote, and arrived right on time at our storage unit. The team was efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. This is a well-run, professional small business. I highly recommend Mr. Folk and his company. - Dennis D. (Herndon, VA)
I just moved from TN to VA and from the moment I called Small Moves and Delivery, I could not have asked for anything better. I originally spoke with Folk who gave me a quote based on the information I gave him and I followed up and confirmed with Bernice. I was originally unable to get the date for the move that I wanted but Bernice called me back later that day and made it happen.
These movers are AMAZING! We have used movers for several moves the past few years and these guys are THE best! We called them to help move my mother-in-law's furniture to a storage unit (all her furniture from a colonial house to prepare for a move to a condo). They arrived with a U-Haul van and we thought, at first, that they needed a bigger truck. We were wrong. These guys work like magic!
