I fail to see why anyone would rate this company 5 stars even once. It was the worst service and slowest work I can imagine. 1. They wore street shoes and dirtied the carpet. 2. They took 3 hours to move 8 pieces of regular furniture 8.5 km from a townhouse to the front door of a business. 3. They took over 8 cigarette breaks and stopped to pick them up in between stops. 4. They asked me to order pizza. 5.
I am sorry that your experience was not the best that it could have been, we strive to provide the best service in moving industry.However, we would like to explain our service in details.
Movers were awesome guys, very cautious with furniture and very easy to deal with. Unfortunately, there was only 2 of them so the process took an extremely long time. If you use this company make sure they send 3 guys otherwise you'll be paying a lot of money for delayed service....

We moved from Mississauga to Vaughan early this month. I had the worst commercial experience ever in Canada. The movers from Smart moving Mississauga worked slow with bad attitude. About one and half hours before finishing, they stopped moving our furniture, demanded full payment added two hours in. The lead guy was on the phone talking in Russian with his boss and told us if we do not pay, they will not move rest of our furniture. We had no choice to pay them in full.

If I could give zero stars, I would! We got 3 movers to move us from one apartment to the other two blocks away. After 15.5 hours, crushed boxes, drinks left on our wooden furniture, a neighbour telling us that it looked like at least one guy was napping in the truck, one of the movers disappearing after 12 hours, and not all of our possessions brought up to our new apartment, we're out $2100 and have weeks of work ahead of us to get our new apartment in order. I will never call this company again!
We are very sorry to hear about your experience, however our company does not have any records by that name. Moreover, keep in mind there's another moving company by the name of "Smart Moves" sometimes customers tend to confuse us with.
Going to sue, contact BBB, Consumers Agency. You dare charge me $2130 for 15.5 hrs to move 2 BLOCKS. You broke many boxes, broke items, China etc. Didn't complete the job. We had to go to the moving room that was locked up for the late night..because you took so long. We had to retrieve China cabinet, 2 triple dressers, 2 high boy dressers, cabinet, bookcase, TV Stand. Amateurs would have completed this job 6 hrs tops!

I found Smart Movers Canada to be extremely professional. The movers arrived right on the clock. They were organized in every step of the way. In comparison to the competitors, they are great value for money. Everything was individually wrapped and protected with pads and plastic which they brought with them and on the delivery they reassembled all our dismantled furniture. The quality of work, communication and customer service was top notch. The whole move was done without any issue.

Have used Smart Movers twice and have found them to be reliable, professional and courteous. For our last move (moving our furniture out of storage and back into our home), we had Fara and Oleg on the job, and I have to say I very much enjoyed working with them. They were early to arrive and efficient in moving our stuff. No issues with the move and they explained their process so I knew they were making the most efficient use of my time (and money).

I recently moved with smart movers and these guys did awesome job. All my stuff got moved without a hitch. From the first call they explained the process, details and pricing. The crew rep called me a day before to confirm date and time of my move. The crew arrived right on time and was very friendly. They carefully loaded our heavy furniture into their huge truck. Each piece of my furnitire was wrapped with blankets and plastic. They did everything we required and asked if they can do something more for us.
