I would not recommend Smiley Movers. After my move, I realized that several valuable items were missing. After trusting a moving company to handle my belongings carefully and responsibly I was left extremely disappointed. Moving is already overwhelming, the last thing anyone needs is to worry about their expensive items disappearing. If you choose to use them, I strongly recommend keeping a detailed inventory and double-checking everything before they leave.

I cannot say enough good things about Smiley Movers! I had a lot of fluctuations in my moving process (items kept being added/removed from our list, date changes, budget issues, etc.), and they took everything in stride. Everyone was polite and prompt in communication, and every step was made clear. I especially like how their pricing system is set like a rubric, which makes budgeting easier so there’s no guesswork at the end. Sam and Stefan were AMAZING.

Change may be for better or worse, but either way, change may be difficult, challenging and stressful. I was recently compelled to move my worldly belongings from a 3rd floor storage unit to my new home with very short notice. The storage unit facility had yet to repair its broken elevator. I cannot recommend Smiley Movers enough! Moving can be incredibly stressful, especially when you're doing it on your own, but Filip and Rich made the entire experience seamless. They arrived right on time, were professional, friendly, and unbelievably efficient. They had me completely moved out of my one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in just 30 minutes! Not only were they fast, but they genuinely went above and beyond.

[Edited for part 2] I am moving interstate, which is already a stressful process in itself. Adding to it, my PODS container did not fit most of my furniture and my only choice to dispose of my 3-bedroom apartment... until a friend had suggested reaching out to Smiley Movers! Smiley Movers were not only able to accommodate a SAME DAY job, but also they provided the very competitive pricing for the full scope of my move (load the truck in NYC, drive the truck to the new state, unload the truck in the new state).
