Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Scheduled for 9:30AM and the owner call at 9AM that the driver is sick and can't make on time. He was extremely rude and kept telling you can cancel it because he knew I do not have other choose. Finally they came at noon. Brook my lamp shade, missing some part of my bed hardware. The only paid $12 because he believes it's repairable. I really don't know how it's repairable while lamp is broken to several pieces. Unless he thinks to glue it. not recommended at all
Because we are ODOT regulated we have to have background checks and a medical card on all of our drivers. Our insurance company has to have the driver on file to drive our trucks. One of our drivers called in to tell us he was sick that morning and could not come in.
Hired these folks to move my 4 bdrm house. I setup my garage with tape outlining the area of a 26' box truck and proceeded to fill the garage with all of my furniture, shrink wrapped, and boxes. The loading of the truck took less than 30 minutes before we got to the last of the items, the big ones, a washer/dryer, couch, dual reclining loveseat, and a recliner. Loading the piano broke the ramp so they stopped to call the owner for direction.

I hired Smooth Move People to help pack then move my belongings. The two men that showed up were professional and they were work horses. Unfortunately, they did not listen to me when we walked the house nor did they ask questions. I purchased moving blankets so some of my more expensive items would be well protected. The mover packed the box and NO items were wrapped with a blanket.
Hi Dani Thanks for your response .I talked with your movers, and they said they were surprised at your response.They said they tried do the best job for you.You did not mention anything broken or damaged only that they put your TV on the floor without any shrink wrap. That should have been done.
I had a terrible experience with Smooth Move moving company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The entire process was frustrating from start to finish, starting with the lack of transparency in their pricing. When I tried to get answers, the owner outright refused to address my questions or send a invoice. On moving day, the driver seemed more interested in his personal schedule than ours, constantly complaining.

My 75 inch tv got cracked and I didn't have there $200 insurance they only gave me $75 dollars for it when it cost me $1000 2months ago and broke my clothes vanity and broke all of it they gave me $5 dollars for when it cost $1500 it was very heavy I told them not to crab by the legs because one was loose first thing rap it up real good and the mover cab the leg and drag it and it made a loud noise got to new place open it up and it was broken even more where can't use it they $5 dollars for it all I know we use…

A few weekends ago, we had Rick and Jared show up at noon for an estimated three hour job packing up our 15 ft. U-Haul. Rick was great: friendly and efficient. Jared moved slower than molasses in January from jump, and had a major attitude problem all afternoon. About 1:30 we figured we’d need an extra hour. Around 4:30 they were finally almost finished, and while my husband and I were dismantling a bathroom shelf for the dumpster, Jared asked me (for about the third time, and from the next room) about a microwave…
I’m very sorry to hear that your move didn’t go well. Some of what you mentioned, the crew had a different perspective on—but I want to speak specifically about Jared. He tends to take things personally, and he told me afterward that he was really struggling that day.
This is the world’s worst moving experience. Greg knew that this was a deeply traumatic experience. My fiancé called off our wedding a month before we were set to be married and I needed to suddenly vacate our home. I told Greg I had a lot of high value art that needed to be custom wrapped and put in cardboard. He said if I had issues to call him and he’d resolve. He has been unreachable for hours. His movers have packed things we told them not to pack. They’ve thrown dishes in boxes unwrapped.
To whom it may concern Delia called our company and said her fiance had called off their wedding just day before. She said she did not want to be at the house and wanted us to meet her girlfriend at the home. She was Stressed.
My girlfriend and I tried to use Smooth Move People to move a couple pieces of furniture. Everything seemed great until the day of the move, when we showed up at 3:30 as scheduled to her old place and waited. Hours passed and we finally heard from the movers, saying that their jobs ran late and they wouldn’t be there until 7:30 pm, or else we could reschedule for the next day. We had plans so we chose to reschedule for 12 pm the next day. Well here we are, 12 pm has come and gone.
When Shayne contacted me on Saturday I called the crew. When they got back with me they gave me there best idea of when they would be done. I called Shayne and told her the crew said maybe 4 to 4:30. But at the time they were still loading the truck and did not see the unload.

Tim and Tom were amazing! They moved all of our things so fast I couldn't believe it while still being careful with our breakable items. They also have the best rates in town. If you're looking for a quick, professional move at a good price I can't recommend them enough.
We are so glad we found Smooth Move People for our move from Portland to Seattle. We contacted a number of moving companies, and prices were outrageous for our two-bedroom apartment (some charged by the item, others by weight). I found Smooth Move People and spoke with Greg when first calling - he provided simple pricing details. They truly have the lowest rates in town. The crew arrived promptly at 7 AM on a Sunday morning. They got to work immediately, and packed everything up efficiently.
We had an excellent experience!! They recently moved us from our Portland Public Storage unit to our new home in Vancouver and we couldn’t have asked for a better job done. They were so efficient, beginning at 9am and they were fully done moving us in before 12:30pm. They took extra care wrapping our things with their own supplies and making sure nothing was damaged in transit.

This moving service broke the glass in my sofa table, upper glass and lower glass. they broke the leg on my dresser and then broke the leg or an end table. the movers that were with me gave me a form to fill out and assured me it would be replaced and repaired, I called the owner he began a long litany of how no one ever in all his days ordered $85.00 damage rider on his policy offered to his customers. If you use this man's service be prepared to have you item broken.
When we set up a move with a customer we give them a list of 5 items that need to be in a cardboard box and sealed shut. Glass is one of the 5 items that need to be boxed.. If they are not in a box we will move them anyway but there is no insurance on the 5 items if broken.We tell this to every…
