Do not use them!!!! Beware!!! They broke priceless things that can't be replaced. Things are "missing". I've called the owner 3 times and sent many text messages with NO RESPONSE! If you like your things and want to keep them DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I would not use this service again. ‼️Just a reminder to everyone: when signing a contract with this company, make sure they sign the contract as well. (Especially for a binding contract)I signed my contract one month prior to my move. Tony, the owner of the company, acknowledged it but never said he would sign it. There is also no designated place for the company to sign on their contract. One week before the move, I realized this issue and asked Tony to sign the contract. His attitude changed and became annoyed.

We used this company to move across town and had a very poor experience. They did not pack the truck to the ceiling - there were several feet of head space all the way through - and as a result, they could not fit everything in. We were left with several car loads in our garage to go back for. They also charged me more than agreed for a piano move, even though we'd discussed all the particulars of the route out of the house when I booked service.

1. Let me start by saying, if you are moving anywhere in/around/out of the tri-state and want to hire help, look for ANYONE ELSE but “A Smooth Move” to help you. I am only leaving 1 star because 0 is not an option. Let me explain… 2. The beginning of my experience with this company was great. Tony was prompt, fair, and inspired great confidence in the service his company would deliver. Then the movers showed up… 3.

Editing to add an update- After getting to our new location and unloading the truck, we were disappointed with how some of our belongings had been loaded. We had ample moving blankets to ensure everything could be properly wrapped and protected, as Tony had requested. While many blankets were used, we still had an entire bag of unopened blankets, as well as several blankets left over from other bags. Upon unloading the truck, we discovered that multiple furniture pieces had no blanket placed between them.

Everything seemed to have went well until my husband pointed out that the banister Tony removed and put back was not secured. First off we just moved into our new home where everything is fresh and nice, called Tony who refused to stop back by our place to repair a banister that they took off. He requested that I sent him pictures then declared that he would mail a check for $50.00. After expressing to him that I did not wish to receive a check and that our only concern or need was for them to fix our banister.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 and called when I didn't hear anything from the movers after 2:00. I was told that because I had an afternoon appointment they would get to me when they could and that their other move was running behind...if a customer has an appointment scheduled for a specific time and you know you're not going to be able to honor the appointment, the proper thing to do is to contact the customer. It's really that simple.

The boys working were very nice. They showed up with no dollies, no straps, nothing to move heavy furniture with. I thought this was a bit odd. They stacked our boxes and containers. My husband had straps and asked them if they would like to use them. They did not. We had several containers busted. They stacked them so high without using straps. When the movers unloaded them, they had difficulty and was a bit dangerous as they were stacked so high and nothing on them to prevent them falling.
