In their own words
SE Movers moved my belongings from Chicago to Chattanooga TN. They arrived in Chicago and moved my belongings to Chattanooga on the day(s) promised. However, my glass and some acrylic furniture arrived scratched (and is not reparable). They also put a huge hole in my wall completely through the drywall causing the move to stop mid-move, forcing me to go to Home Depot and repair wall damage.
We recived a confirmation call Friday night and an 8 to 6 window for Saturday. We waited all day Saturday. We received a text from him saying he was on his way around 12:30 pm. We waited 6 hours and he never showed up. He never answers his phone or texts back if you text him. He has yet to apologize or even contact us. TERRIBLE service.
If I could give 0 starts I would. We scheduled them to arrive at 9:30am on a Monday at 10am I called, I never received a call back from the owner, he had one of his movers call me, they were 3 hours from our house, they had lost our appointment. I called the owner again, he never returned my calls. Scheduled for 9:30 they arrived at 2. They worked hard, but we did not finish until midnight and I helped them the whole time. Had 2 movers when I had requested 3. Just pitiful.
Extremely disappointed. They left our house a wreck, and didn't finish the job. They promised us three men, we got two. They promised us one truck, we got another. Factors that lead to the job being much longer than necessary. After two broken promises, David said he'd take an hour off the bill ($125.) Then he communicated with his team, and due to their poor management, they broke their word from start to finish, and then took back their offer to take an hour off the bill. Very shady.
I am so sorry to hear this. You are correct in the fact that only 2 of the 3 men came out for your move but we adjusted the hourly rate for this. The day of the move I informed my lead to subtract 1 hour of labor off of your bill. He took 2.5 total hours off your bill.
Watch out for these guys. They quoted me $125/hr. The movers were competent and did a good job. However, when It came time to pay I was told there was a three hour minimum. The whole process took no more than two hours. Nothing had been said about a three hour minimum until then. As a matter of fact, little was said at all. I had to call them to confirm, and I never through the whole process saw any paperwork at all.
I called to get them on a Friday to move us and they set me up to move that Monday. He said he’d call me with a time but never did and when Monday came no call no nothing to move to my new home! I will Not call them again. Not good business ethics!

Wow! What can I say? First, thank you Brandon for taking great care of us, especially after another local company canceled our appointment at the 11th hour. Not only cancel, but did it by text, they didn’t have the nerve to speak to me. Brandon came when I called, gave us a fair price, explained his team’s process, and kept us informed every step of the way. His team showed up on time, professional and courteous, and did a great job with all our stuff.

We used this company to move my in laws from TN to FL so they could be closer to us. Brandon and his team were absolutely phenomenal & super friendly! From the time we called for a quote to pack & move contents of the home, they showed up on time, did a walk through to see what all would need to be moved, talked us through each step and were willing to even pack for them so it would be stress free as they are elderly and disabled.
It's difficult to put into words how much the guys at this company meant to me. I feel like they literally saved my life. I was very sick on moving day and had hired a company from Cleveland because of their Christian name basically and some obviously bad recommendations.They turned out two unhappy boys who were not at all happy to be there.

Our last move was a disaster. After constant assurances throughout the day that, "It will all fit. No problem," the movers (some not so "good guys" as it turned out) told us late in the day that "It won't all fit on the truck, and we don't have any other trucks available." and then they just up and left for the new house. We had to call in a friend with a pick up truck to haul 4 additional loads of our stuff by ourselves. No apology, or discount, was offered.
