PLEASE READ. Do not use Splendid Moving Services. I used Splendid Moving for a last minute job. To their credit they were available same day. After that, all they did was complain about the job the entire time. The job was simple. Moving furniture and pre-packaged boxes from one location to another less than 1 mile away. Thats it. Simple. Easy. No stairs, no complexity. Easy access to both locations. All they did was COMPLAIN about the job the entire time.
I hired two movers in October 2025 to move large items (bed, TV, furniture) one mile to my new home. I had already packed and moved most of my belongings myself. The movers arrived on time and were friendly. The move took longer than expected, but initially seemed fine. I bought them lunch and tipped them, as they were working hard. After the move, I noticed a ding and small hole in my wall, which I considered minor and fixable. About a month later, when I finally used my TV, I noticed multiple dead pixels.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE MOVERS. I am updating the review because after the initial post they called me offering to refund me some money to take down the review… which means that there are possible bad reviews that have been taken down… very disappointing. We used Splendid for our first move and had an amazing experience, the mistake we made was using them again for our second move.
Hi Jenbin, We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, including the accident during your move and all of the misunderstandings throughout the process. When you first called us, we offered a discount, which you agreed to at the time.
I hired Splendid Moving for my move for June 3rd, Monday. Their crew was late showing up. They did not wrap many of the furniture with blanket (or only partial covered). There were so many scratches, chips found after removing wraps. The worst part was they dropped nightstand tables on the ground. They didn't even look to see if there was any damage. They tried to have me sign off the work so I had to have them point out the damage. They offered $50.00 discount, and they rushed me and they left.
Don’t hire them, you are going to be disappointed. They are not professionals so they spend too much time so they charge you more and they don’t wrap up properly so you are going to see damage to your belongings.

Ridiculous driving from your driver, cutting off at a fork with no signals and swerving!! I would not want my cargo to be handled by drivers driving in such a manner...

Nick and team were AMAZING. They were professional, punctual, efficient, helpful, SO polite, and extremely careful. Everything was clearly communicated and they were able to add additional stops when I emailed them 36 hours before the move (which they confirmed via text). For our full house move from a 3-story townhouse to a single story across town, and additional stops to trade furniture and pick up at another location, we had the truck, 4 movers, and it took 8 hours (they took a 30min lunch break, which they…
Huge thank you to Splendid Moving Company and especially to Max and Isaac! I am someone who always has moved myself, but due to a nerve issue in my arm had to use movers from LA to SD and was extremely nervous. These guys were on time for the start window, communicated extremely well, were very efficient with time, and very honest with how long everything took. It was seamless which helped an already stressful situation be less stressful.
I had an amazing experience with Splendid Moving, and I can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, their team was incredibly professional and exceeded all my expectations. They arrived right on time, which immediately gave me confidence that I was dealing with a dependable company. One of the things that stood out the most was how efficient they were while still being meticulous. They worked quickly to get everything loaded, but they never rushed when it came to handling my belongings.
They quoted me a flat rate which was more reasonable than other moving companies. They picked up a Vintage 70’s China Cabinet which had a lot of glass and in mint condition. They shrink wrapped it & secured it with cardboard, placed it on platform with rollers and placed it securely on a lift gate into their moving truck. When they delivered the piece, I watched them as they carefully removed it from the truck and brought it into my house without a hitch.
