Star Moving Solutions

We used them for packing and long distance moving. The reviews have to be fake as this was the most unethical and u reliable moving experience, and I have had many cross country moves. 1/4 of our boxes / possessions are missing. How is that even possible? And how convenient that they are the boxes with valuable and expensive items. Some prepackednirwms were emptied out and reboxed, while others with valuables are missing. There is also broken furniture.

I've seen a lot of positive reviews for this company. I'd like to know what moving team those people got because I had a horrific experience. Packing was mind bogglingly sloppy, things we told them not to pack were packed, and things that were fragile and priceless were damaged and destroyed. One box contained an oxygen tank, padded only with one of my hats. They're lucky it didn't explode. I've been unpacking for the last month, and every new box i open has at least one thing damaged or worse in it.

No words could actually describe my disappointment with this company. However, please continue reading if you would like a little further narrative on the low rating. If you choose to select this company for your move, just make sure you don't get Luis and his team. I personally will never use this moving company again nor will I recommend it. I booked Star Moving Solutions for a move at the end of August 2022.

I read through many many of the reviews on star movers and it's hard to believe that they had so many five stars. I moved about 6 weeks ago, and while I was promised a fantastic move by Star movers that is not what I got. The staff that worked on my move worked very hard and were very nice but once my things went into storage and came back out of storage and delivered to my home, I had about $2,000 worth of damage to my furniture.

It's hard to imagine a worse international moving company. The issue is that they partner with Trans Star Moving, and they couldn't coordinate a trip to the mailbox between them. 1) During the quoting process, they gave conflicting information regarding insurance type and costs. I had to point it out to them twice so they could fix it. It shows a complete lack of attention to important details between the two companies. 2) The communication is awful.

Absolutely terrible experience. Really couldn’t have been worse. THREE HOURS late to arrive. Once they did arrive, they only had 3 out of the 6 men, and 1 out of the 2 trucks, I was paying for. I asked for a supervisor to call me. No one ever did. I refused to sign the paperwork until someone called me, still no call. I finally found the number to someone who answered their phone (the guys were waiting this whole time) and they gave me 5% off. It was like a slap in the face after that hellacious experience.

I scheduled a move recently where the process was fine but during the move there was damage done to our new home and our mattress was destroyed because the movers decided to fold the mattress in half. This ruined the springs and structure of the mattress. When I report this claim I was told I would only get $70 because of the limited liability coverage. The representative I worked with showed zero flexibility and then began to question whether I had tried to fix the mattress.

Thought they were good but we were very disappointed with the service. Had quoted for packing and moving together and the charge was based on time. The crew were efficient for the first two rounds and then it would take them a long time to do another round. I went to check the truck and found them were just sitting in the truck and chatting.
