In their own words
Avoid. Used the for a 2 bedroom + 2 bath packing and moving in downtown Philadelphia. While the packers were professional, the movers took 11 hours to move a 2-bedroom unit taking prolonged breaks. Disassembly and reassembly of 2 pieces of furniture (bed and table) was extremely shoddy with movers losing hardware components in the process. They damaged both the furniture and walls during the move.
I booked these movers about a month out for a move at the end of August. With one week to go before the move, I got an email from them saying they had to cancel because their driver broke his foot. When I emailed back asking for recommendations or referrals to other companies due to the last minute nature of the cancellation, I was told to “google movers in Philadelphia.” It was completely unprofessional behavior, and the cancellation has left my sister and I scrambling to find a moving company in less than a…
tldr; Sam was astoundingly rude, repeatedly ignoring my questions or providing curt responses, even replying to a question I’d posed, “I thought it was self explanatory…without spelling that out.” Gave me a heavily negative impression of the company whereas all other companies have been courteous. The long: My complaint is with a specific customer service rep, Sam.
Your truck was illegally parked on my street moving someone into 1716 Reed Street. I asked your crew to back up so I could exit the street to pick-up my child from daycare. I was told no and to wait 15min. The issue was that I had to pick up my child from daycare which was going to close in 15min. I asked repeatedly and they refused to budge even though they were at the corner and could have easily backed out onto the larger street.
My wife called and booked service with this company. Apparently their was a miscommunication and the company was ment to send a email that we never recived. We called the company to confirm the service. We were informed that we did not have a reservationm upon further determination it was confirmed that this company sent this email to the wrong email address (spelt wrong). These things do happen but my real issue is that when i called to discuss the issue the gentleman did not want to hear what i had to say.
The movers themselves were excellent, my customer service experience was not. I called the office to clarify some conflicting information I had received about my move. When I scheduled, I was told that I was "all set" and that I was on the schedule; but when I called the day of to confirm, I learned I was not on the schedule because I had not responded to the confirmation email they had sent me (yes, the email that confirmed that I was *on* the schedule).
Would you like to deal with some crumb bums? Call this company. I booked a month ago for a move and thank god I gave myself some time to readjust my move date is needed. I emailed twice to confirm, confirmed both times and then they literally just didn’t show up the day of the move. They don’t allow you to call them because they want an easy way out. On top of that - they don’t take a deposit. Two red flags right off the bat. Don’t let them ruin your move. Go with another company.
Had a terrible experience with this company. Along with damaging my belongings and property and telling me they were not responsible for the repairs and not following instructions, the owner and some personnel were very disrespectful and condescending when speaking to me. If a female, suggest having males present in handling the business. Would not recommend this company. If I could rate a 0/5 stars, I would.

In their own words
Called a bunch of movers for a move from Philadelphia to NJ. Stellar was the most reasonable price. Communication with the staff was great. Three movers showed up on time and quickly and efficiently loaded my belongings. They took care to ensure they protected my antiques and unloaded into the new place. Highly recommended
Stellar Movers made our move this past weekend as painless as moving can get. They were communicative leading up to the move, arrived on time, and were friendly and respectful. Even better, Troy was proactive about getting creative with how and where within our apartment building to load our belongings into the truck, after our landlord started a construction project the week before our move that blocked tenants from using the building's loading dock.
Everything with Stellar Movers was very easy and smooth! The precommunication was quick. The cost of services was clearly laid out. The immediate day before and day of communication helped and made me feel that everything was on track. The movers were great! Quick and thorough! I had the team make 2 stops (storage unit and parents house) and there were professional and friendly. They handled everything with care.
An absolutely STELLAR moving experience. Three of the nicest, genuine hard working guys hopped off the truck, came up to our 3rd floor apartment on Broad, ran over the details, and then carefully, strategically, set about moving our furniture out to the street. They were prepared with tools, cling wrap, and patience. They got the apartment loaded up so fast we were shocked, and then they moved us in to our new house even faster!!
