I give this company 0 stars!! It was the absolute worst moving experience ever. They were supposed to show up at 10am on a Friday. I had sold my home and rented back and had to be out by the morning. The new owners were moving in. At 11am, I called and they said they would be there in 1 hour. They never showed. I called again in the afternoon and they said they were on the way. Long story short they showed up at 6:00pm!! Then they looked at all of my stuff and didnt want to start.
Bottom line: the move was fine; the issue is the company’s dishonest management. We had a simple move from one apartment to another in the same city. We called asking for quotes and the lady that answered, Michelle, gave us what sounded like a very promising deal: certified movers and a 10% military discount. The movers arrived at my apartment and we filled out the paperwork together. I asked when the start time for the bill began, and the worker informed me that it would begin when they would start moving items.
Please do not use Student Movers, their management team lacks integrity and so does the owner. My neighbor hired student movers and my son’s car was parked in front of our house. Their driver who said he was running late and was in a hurry, took a tight turn and hit my son’s car. The driver, full of integrity, felt terrible. He notified me that he hit our car and assured me the company would take care of everything.
This is the absolute worst company I have ever used. I lived in a 500SF apartment. 3rd floor but there's elevators. Giving them the benefit of the doubt it takes 5 minutes to get from the unit to the truck and 5 minutes back. Overall each haul would probably take 10-15 minutes. The dolly they brought had a flat so they used my dolly and cart to load boxes. No problem. I have maybe 35 boxes total and 10-12 pieces of furniture including chairs (which I disassembled ahead of time).
This company helped me learn to read the Google reviews and not just the star rating before buying something. I told you so to the people reading this but use these guys anyway. Read reviews. Also, this Sean guy is a piece of ___ you will see.
Coward, have your whole family and dog write fake reviews. Get a life
I seldom post a review but these guys are terrible… booked online and got confirmation but as soon as I asked for a copy of their insurance to provide to my HOA which is not unusual. they called me all upset. These guys wanted to charge me …
This is comical Fred Liebel your HOA requires a bunch of extra services and time you weren’t willing to pay for. On top of that they require all moves be done in 4hours. We turned this business down. Good Luck

These guys were fantastic.... Very professional and respectful.....Most importantly they listened to helpful input.....I will be using this service moving forward and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of moving services.. I had a front loading washer moved from 1st floor to 2nd floor 75kg...these 2 guys handled it no problems.... Well worth the price!!!
