Really really disliked doing business with sunshine movers, and perhaps it was a fluke, because their online reputation is very good, it was a huge part of the reason I hired them. We’ll start with the pros. Mati had awesome communication, responded to texts very quickly. compared quotes between 3 different moving companies, sunshine movers was the lowest price by far. I was going to be charged 109 paying cash for three hours.
I was frustrated for 3 reasons. To add background, we had moved this one bedroom apartment 2 times earlier this year. The same movers were unavailable but were much faster. 1. Took 8 hours (5 hours longer than previous movers) and being charged by time, only 2 guys moving us. 2. SO much plastic waste. SO MUCH. 3 garbage bags full of plastic waste. Felt they could use blankets and be better to the environment. Did not need to wrap everything. It was out of control. 3.
The movers were dishonest and took “another small job”, when they were suppose to be driving to my 2nd destination. Mind you, they had all my belonging in their truck. When confronted, they tried to pass it off as “getting gas”. However, after two hour of my constant calls, they came clean. They arrived four hours later. Mind you, I was paying for a utility elevator and loading dock during this time. Further, they tried to charge me those hours (driving hours/double rate), which I had a good chuckle over.

UPDATE PER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: This was not a 3-bedroom move; you entered it into the system as a 3-bedroom move, but I told Mike numerous times, this was a one-bedroom move due to us moving majority of items the prior day. And I was at the pick-up address the entire time, which is why I know Alex was on the phone majority of the time. You called me after this review and asked me to remove the review and I responded stating that would be unethical as many customers rely on reviews.

Where do I begin! 1. They were late! 2. I have a three bedroom apartment and I'm moving into a three bedroom. 3. They took five hours just to move out of my old apartment. They said that I had a lot of heavy things, including a bed... I thought most bedrooms had beds, not dressers A BED, and nothing fancy. Long story short they charged me $1100 just to move 15 min away then harassed me for a tip! Then I gave him a tip and he said "that's all, give more!" ungrateful!!!
STAY FAR AWAY! I cannot understand how they have so many 5 star reviews. They are the biggest joke I have ever come into contact with. I needed ONE dresser moved from my garage to the second story and they said it would be nearly $400...Are you kidding me. Literally would take them 15min maximum...I am in the wrong business haha I should be in the moving business. Don't waste your time with these frauds.

We had our Pod delivered. I asked the driver is she had any tips for packing. She recommended Sunshine Moving Company. I looked them up and they had amazing reviews. I spoke with Mike and arranged for some men to load only. Great price quote so I agreed and paid a small deposit. I received an email from Sunshine as a reminder if the movers arrival. Madi called me and let me know they were on their way and gave an ETA. Madi, Sam, Max, and Saidali were punctual and super friendly and very respectful!

I was looking for movers to get from San Diego to Phoenix and found nothing but overpriced companies or shady brokers with awful reviews. I ran across Sunshine randomly and they had great reviews so I figured I would touch base. Madi was quick to respond and gave me a very fair bid after a walk through. They were able to pack the house and move pretty much ASAP which took me by surprise as I have moved in the military many times and it’s always a long drawn out process.

I recently moved from San Diego to Texas. I had a really bad experience moving from Texas to San Diego after I (unknowingly) used a broker service for the move. It was a mess that caused me to not receive my stuff for almost two weeks. I did some research online and found Sunshine Moving Services. They had really good reviews across the board. The main things I was looking for were obviously reliability but also a company that could promise a delivery date.
