Had a great experience with Sweet Sound! I'd originally asked Jim and the team to do a local move, but when they arrived it was clear how knowledgeable they were as technicians. Jim was able to assess and walk me through the piano's condition and likely history, and after a couple days of work on the action plus followup tone finetuning in the new house, the piano came to life far more expressive than it had been in over a decade!

I can't say enough good things about Sweet Sound! My piano is 140 years old - a "senior citizen" as Jim said. But apparently, it was high end in its day. He brought life into it by taking out the entire action mechanism, fixing the moisture problem at all the center pins, and filing, reshaping, and steaming the hammers. Then, of course he re-tuned. The resulting sound is remarkable! It’s got a new life. And the feel of the keys – so much easier to play!
