In their own words
I have moved three times in the past six years and the last two times I used a moving company. When I inquired as to pricing, I was told the max my move would cost was $750. I doubted it would be that high based on what I paid on the last move ($700 plus a tip for three guys) and this time I had much less furniture, The guys were very gentle and the most friendly I've encountered. The price out the door was $771, which was 21 more than quoted. When I asked the owner he apologized that his "quote" was a little low.
We were very happy to sign on with Gus because as he explained the process, the men would pack up the fragile things I hadn’t packed on one day and put them on to a truck going to MN the next day along with another couple’s things that were also going to MN. So essentially it would be one on load and one off load, which is what we wanted in order to lessen chances of things breaking the more they were handled. That is the agreement we signed, but it did not go that way at all.
Ann, thank you again for taking the time to speak with me directly. I want to acknowledge your concerns and the frustration you experienced. From the moment this was brought to our attention, we worked in real time to adjust the process and follow up to better align with what was originally agreed.

Swift & Gentle Moving and Storage absolutely lived up to their name. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. My wife was pregnant during our move, so having a reliable and careful team meant everything to us—and they truly delivered. They handled all of our belongings with great care, including our Sleep Number bed, which they disassembled and set up again without any issues.

We had a very excellent experience with Swift and Gentle Moving + Storage. Starting with Dorothy Moore, ourl realtor calling Gus the owner personally to help us pack, store, and move to Idaho in a very timely manner. Gus came over within an hour and together we walked the house. Gus gave us a reliable quote and we were off and running. The packing team arrived on time on the 12th of January, had us all packed up in 6 hours. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home.
