Do not use this company! ESPECIALLY if you pack yourself! They will refuse to list specific things in inventory saying they don't know what is in the boxes. Then your things will get stolen and they will say it never existed because it wasn't listed in the inventory! Had them pack a television. They removed the stand didn't pack it and it be never showed up. Had multiple things stolen and damaged.

Jack, We take these matters very seriously, and unfortunately, we cannot verify anything about your identity from your name in our records. If you were an Armstrong customer, we would like to investigate this issue further. Please contact our agency president, Joey DaMommio, at [phone removed].

Edit: I appreciate the owner reaching out. However, I elected not to respond. Given the incident, I'm trying to be as anonymous as possible - this could've been a deadly threat, and now it's possibly affecting someones employment. I don't believe they actually need my help in identifying this individual considering how crazy he acted - I would think it'd be readily obvious. If not, idk, maybe that's a worse sign that you can't pick out the unhinged person from the other employees.

I used this company to relocate my brand new furniture across states and after 3 weeks of my furniture being relocated, many pieces were damaged! THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE! After signing my moving agreement with MayFlower Moving, I was not told that this 3rd party company would be assisting me with my move instead of actual Mayflower employees. It's took 3 weeks to receive my two bedroom shipment only to find out my brand new furniture was DAMAGED!

Ashley, this is Joseph DaMommio, president of Armstrong – Knoxville. I’m sorry to hear about your furniture and your move experience. As communicated last week, we are working to settle the claim. I’ll be happy to answer any further questions and further discuss your move.

-Their "professional" packing/inventory specialist, Doug Powers did an in-home inventory of all of our items 2 weeks before moving and GROSSLY UNDERESTIMATED OUR MOVING LOAD - forcing us to either pay DOUBLE on the day of moving, to add in a new container or hire a U-haul (which we'd hoped to avoid by hiring "professional" movers, but this was the cheaper option.) What's the point of having someone come out to take inventory if it's incorrect and forces you to pay more on the day of moving?

Aside from the ease in obtaining an estimate for services, dealing with the moving company was a disaster. Our mailbox was run over TWICE. Our alarm system was damaged to the point of not being functional, and our hardwood floors in our master bedroom suffered two large (several yard long) scratches when they removed our refrigerator from the home without following protocol of utilizing a protective cardboard walking path from the house.

I recently worked with Armstrong on a large (5-figure cost) corporate move for my company. It was, without a doubt, the single worst experience I have ever had with any service provider ever. We had many pieces of furniture broken, gouged, and scratched due to the careless and poorly-supervised staff. Some pieces we fixed, some we scrapped due to the extent of the damage. My view is that we were over-billed, due to the extremely inefficient, borderline lazy, staff. Armstrong disagreed and were paid in full.

Bad bad experience. I paid United Moving to take apart and put back together my queen size bed. Well, Armstrong moved me the last part of my journey, put together my bed incorrectly so that the slats are falling out, didn't use 22 screws and 3 braces, so my mattress is about to fall through. Now both Armstrong and United refuse to come back and put it together correctly. I am 66 years old. But they have washed their hands of it and say it's up to me for fix it.

Hello, D RIP. Please send an email to us with your move details so we can get this resolved for you. I'm not finding anything in our system under your last name. We'll get this figured out. Thanks!

I have tried to get in touch with the general manager/president for three weeks and he keeps hiding behind the secretary's skirt. I've been told his name is Joey last name unknown. This has been the worst move of my life! I would've been a lot better off going to a competitor or doing it myself. There are not enough derogatory words in the English language to convey my total dissatisfaction with this company. This company is out of Knoxville, Tn.

We recently moved from California to Knoxville with United Van lines and Armstrong as our moving company. On our move in date the movers were Sam, Dylan and Eli. We were impressed by their professionalism and by their courteousness. They handled our move in quickly and were very careful to not damage our things or our new apartment. We highly recommend Armstrong and Sam, Eli and Dylan. They did a great job. Update: We have recently bought a home and had Armstrong move us from our apartment into our home.

We interviewed many moving companies and decided on Armstrong/United Van Lines for 4 major reasons - 1. we had used United Van Lines for a previous move and they were excellent, 2. customer service during the interview process, 3. in person estimates (I refused to go with any company that only did virtual estimates), 4. reviews. The most impressive was the "seller" Laura who greatly exceeded my expectations on knowledge of the business and patience. She came out 2x to our home.

My experience with Armstrong Relocation has been excellent. The entire Armstrong Relocation staff pay attention to detail, communicate well, and every move was cost efficient. The entire staff is professional, polite and very well organized. They arrived promptly and were very easy to work with. They worked quickly and quietly without any damage. All the paperwork was well organized. I have hired this company three times.

It was very nice service. We got fair price and the schedule was arranged reasonably. They are professional and I will recommend them to other person.
