Absolutely HORRIBLE movers. We scheduled a move on 1/26 with two movers. The movers showed up an hour late and we were sent one adult and ONE CHILD “mover”. They then took another 4 hours to SLOWLY move a couch, two bureaus, one queen mattress and one washer and dryer set. I asked that they not take apart my reclining couch and the adult mover very rudely told me he has been doing this for 15 years. He then proceeded to take apart my couch.

On August 20th, 2025. I hired The Best Movers to simply move furniture and boxes into a rented U-Haul. The movers were very careful in not causing damage to the walls or furniture. Then they decided to extend a mat across two sets of stairs in the house, which turns out to have been a rubber/latex mat. My wife is very allergic to latex, so when she decided to come back later after they’d left, to finish packing, the whole house smelled of rubber/latex. This caused her an allergic reaction.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this company due to their lack of professionalism and accountability. During a recent move, their crew improperly held open the elevator doors, which caused the system to shut down and require a technician to reset it. This is a well-known issue with elevators, and a professional moving team should have known better. When I filed an insurance claim for the damage, I provided all relevant information and followed up numerous times.

This company ruined the walls to the place I was moving out of and moving into. The owner denied his team did anything wrong along with me sending him pictures. One of the moves was so tired he wanted to quit on the job. I found the issues with my walls being damaged after they left. I paid $1.6k plus a $300 tip and I ended up with damaged walls that the company has refused to repair. Do not use them if I could give a negative -5 I would. “ not the best movers but the worse movers”

The movers were great, no complaints there. But I have to question the management and processes in place. I was informed of a fee for materials which was not mentioned in the contract nor the booking service. I was also told that there should have been a 3rd person to assist w the move as I lived on the 3rd floor (no elevator). I was charged for an extra hour of labor despite the team being short handed.
The Best Movers cost my building $2,500+ in damages due to not using the elevators correctly. They overloaded the elevators during the move and caused the motors to shut down. I've had a claim since Aug 28th with no resolve. They won't answer the phone or respond to any of our emails.

Brian. We are sorry to see this review. After testing and turning the working TV's over to your tv install company we was not expecting this review. We tried several times to get you to complete the claim form. Even after all the yelling.

WOW! Can I give them more than five stars please?! "The Best Movers" really ARE the "BEST" I've EVER seen or used in numerous past moves - big or small! Yesterday (9/16/25) was our major (local) move, and, right on time as scheduled, they arrived promptly at 9:00 am. Right after each one introduced themselves, they immediately began walking through every room on all three floors to identify & clarify exactly what items were going and what items would be left for my daughter's ex-husband per their divorce…
We moved a few weeks ago and truly this company was The Best! The customer representative or moving coordinator was very knowledgeable and professional throughout our move. The two gentlemen who completed our move were dedicated and very professional too. They wrapped and moved items for load and unload in blankets or Saran Wrap. Additionally, they bright carpet runners to prevent stains on the carpets! I highly recommend the professionalism of this company.
Timely, professional, excellent communication from start to finish. Greatly appreciated the follow up as soon as work was completed. The team took extreme care of the antiques they moved. All were pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely use Best Movers if I move again. Highly recommend this company.
