The Green Truck Moving & Storage - Nashville

Definitely the worst moving experience I've ever had. First they were late because one truck got into an accident apparently, but I understand things happen, and they sent another one that came about 2 hours late. However, when the guys came they had a completely wrong invoice that didn't list the items that needed to be moved that were previously agreed upon. Then the 2 guys started arguing about whether or not to load the items that were not on the list.

Horrible Customer Service/Unprofessional Experience/Damages After carefully reading reviews on many companies, asking friends from their experiences and seeing that the Green Truck had a great track record with online reviews I booked them for our move. I wish I could say that our experience was as good as others. We had a rather large move that required two trucks and two households. We had five men working that day. Two of them were highly professional, worked diligently and showed care in moving our belongings.

Hired this company to store, then to move my home belongings out of state. A broken mirror was paid for and a missing vacuum cleaner was replaced with a new one only after I spent weeks calling and emailing with no response. I am still missing items that were inventoried and lost in their storage: a lamp, step ladder and a large wardrobe box packed by me. I packed at minimum 30 boxes myself, and only marked which room they were to be placed into once transported.

Worst movers ever!! They broke so many of our belongings, including a solid wood canopy bed, a butcher block cabinet, statues from Egypt, and several antique pieces of furniture. They also scratched up the hardwood floors in our new home. They gave us 48 hours to report the damages, which gave us little time to unpack boxes. When we were packing up, the movers started arguing so loudly on the street, that a police officer let me know about it!

Do not trust this company with your belongings! I would love more than anything to give this company a five star review, but I have been let down and extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service. It seems they just lie and will take your money and run. I used them a couple years ago and had a decent experience with them. There were a few issues, but the crew was polite, they wrapped everything great and we only moved a couple miles. This summer, we needed to make a several hour move.

Do not use these movers . They are under new ownership. I hired them because the original owner answered every review online and tried to help the customer with their issues . They dropped a 4 drawer file cabinet and destroyed it ,and lost a shelf from a storage cabinet. I was also expecting a credit for moving blankets per the contract. We moved into a brand new home , we had to ask them to put down the floor protection since it was raining. They tore up walls and woodwork.

In short, I would not recommend this company. Here is my experience: I have used several moving companies in the past. The Green Truck Moving Co (GTM) is the worst and most expensive. I've had better luck hiring guys through U-haul for a less than half the cost of moving with this company. I was willing to pay so much more because of the high reviews and because I was having appliances moved.

We used Green Truck for a move about a year and a half ago and had a wonderful experience, so we decided to use them again this past weekend. They workers that showed up were terrible. One kept repeatedly texting/playing on his phone. They also actively kept trying to do less work and did not take a lot of the stuff we asked them repeatedly to take in their truck... so we ended up having a full day's worth of work moving once they left.
