I was really looking forward to using the move crew, they have great reviews on google and yelp so I thought it’d go great. They were disappointingly slow, it took 10.5 hours to move a three bedroom townhouse (we packed maybe 25%, they did the rest) literally 1.5 miles. I understand wanting to be careful but that’s the most disappointing part, I now have scuffed up walls in my new construction home from them bringing boxes and furniture up the stairs.
I had them do a move for me, from condo to condo, about 3 weeks ago. Have been thinking about the experience before leaving a review. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed by the experience. Moving is bad enough as is, but there were a number of issues that just made the whole experience worse. I had a 2 man crew do the move, and even though I think they did their best, they were definitely understaffed for the move.
Albert, While I appreciate that you took the time to provide this feedback, there are a few points of concern I would like to address. You are correct in that a two-mover crew may not have been the most appropriate for your move, this crew size was sent based on the information you provided to us…
Third time using The Move Crew. First two times were great, but the most recent move with Bob, Robert, and Lowell was not. Robert broke my safe, and now two documents that were inside (my social security card and birth certificate) are missing. I contacted the company to investigate but nothing came from it. The company seemed very interested in protecting their employees and will respond to this review saying they did everything they could.
I spent 30 minutes on a phone call explaining each and every item that needed to be moved for them to tell me at the end of the call they weren’t available on the day that I needed to move. It was a total disrespect for my time as they could have told me from the beginning of the call the day I needed help on wasn’t available. They were also $1000 more than the other quotes I received anyway. I don’t recommend reaching out for moving services

Moving is one of the most stressful experiences, but these guys made the entire process smooth, organized, and honestly enjoyable from start to finish. *Edited to correct spelling* I truly cannot recommend The Move Crew enough! I have never left a Google Review before but this company absolutely deserves it. I want other people who are reading reviews trying to decide which moving company to go with to know that The Move Crew should be your choice. They moved my fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment, plus some storage items, in 2.75 hours (including around 40 minutes of drive time).

This was honestly an incredible experience. I haven't used movers before and was a bit nervous, but I didn't need to be. From Mai making sure I had everything in my inventory ready and organized, with a quick easy process and quote, to the check in before moving day, to the move itself -- everything was organized, professional, and stress free. I was so impressed by Robert, Bob, and Marlow.

I moved again days ago and my second experience was just amazing. The coordination of the move by their office staff and the incredible professionalism and grace of the moving team was just as phenomenal as my first experience. They work like a well oiled machine. Other businesses should study them. They still take the stress out of moving. Bravo. Wow! So efficient and professional. The Move Crew has the right equipment to maximize efficiency and protect your belongings.
