In their own words
We used the company to move from Roundrock to Hutto on May 24th 2025. We moved from apartment to our new house with only limited furniture’s and boxes. Although the people who came for moving were descent but we had couple of issues with them. Our new house ceiling fan light was broken by them when they were moving furniture boards, when asked for a claim, they told me to go and buy from Walmart or Homedepot. They did not even care to express concerns and apologise for broken glass shades.

My experience with The Official Moving Company was nothing short of a nightmare. I used their packing and moving services in September of 2020 and I was stunned by lack of care displayed towards my belongings as we moved into a storage unit. I had initially planned to use their services again to move into a new home, but after the horrendous experience I had, I decided to seek an alternative. Now that I am settled in a new place, I have had time to assess the full extent of the damage.
Update; I noticed our bed was sloping. Lifted the mattress up to find that they had thrown pieces under our bed instead of properly installing. Many pieces were not even screwed in or put together leaving us with a broken bead. I cannot stress enough that this company is awful!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I almost didn’t write this review because I thought they had made things right. Do NOT do business with this company unless you want your items broken and nothing being said.
Slowest moving company ever, definitely moving at a lazy speed to get the most money out of you. I do the same move every summer and takes about 2.5 hours every time and this company took 6 hours. Will never use this company ever and won’t recommend to anyone.
Unfortunately they missed the mark by a long shot. Quoted price after walkthrough and actual price were off by $2000. They bill hourly and have no sense of urgency. They didn't get everything and left us with another 2 hours of work. They …
One bedroom, first floor move with minimal furniture, not even a couch. Took 3 guys over 3 hours and cost me $775. You be the judge. There were scratches on the wood floor from moving one piece and didn't even get an apology. Moved 8/19/23

These guys were absolutely fantastic. Our closing date for our house kept getting pushed back and they kept working with us to make sure they could help. They showed up on time. Were very communicative day of. Got it done real quick and for much less than I was expecting. Fantastic job guys. I’d recommend The Official Moving Company to everyone. If I ever move again. I’m calling these guys. Worth every penny.
This is my first time using movers, and I recommend this company to my family and friends. Guys that came out were super careful with all of my things and professional. They put all my things where I requested with no issues and worked fast. 10/10 recommend
They came in and moved everything as efficient as possible. Moving two houses into one in around 3 hours was great. Also, they cover your items and secure them. Nothing was broken when it arrived. They disassemble and reassemble couches. I had no idea how they figured it out but they did. The price is reasonable because you’re getting quality work. Hiring movers is a must and I recommend these guys highly.
We moved out of a house into a 3rd floor unit. A lot of heavy furniture etc. Our team moved incredibly fast but with great care. Communicated the entire time and never once complained about how tough of a move it was. Hard works, extremely polite and efficient. Super happy with how things went. Will be back!
