Ti-Yende Movers

the leader Patrick was great. unfortunately, the other two movers had to be reminded to pick up furniture versus drag it. after the move; noted damage to wooden furniture; new scrapes and a small chunk of wood missing from lower part of Teak China cabinet . I suspect the other two movers were new at the job; could use more training.

I used Te-Yende movers two times. The first time there were two movers and they took over 4 hours to move my 850 sq foot apartment, but nothing was damaged so I was happy. Because of my first experience we decided to use them a second time. Same thing, two people took over 4 hours to move everything out of our 700 sq foot apartment; however, this time a lot of my furniture was damaged. William, the owner, sent someone over to use paint markers to 'repair' the furniture. He had to come twice.

Changing my review : during the move they had damaged my fence but I left it out of review because they had done the right thing and agreed to fix it. Flash forward to our fence nearly falling down onto our toddler and then our car at the first sign of wind and the owner brushed it off saying it was an old fence so the weren’t responsible despite us having the paperwork from the fence being built in 2023.

This was my first time moving in 50 years. First off I didn’t realize when I phoned and asked about prices, he said $130. For truck and $130. For 2 men. He didn’t say an hour so like an old fool I assumed total. They were late getting here, wouldn’t take anything that had glass in it. Spend at least 2 hours trying to digit out if the couch would fit up the stairs, they had no carrying straps, I paid for 2 extra drop offs which after a number of explanations they still loaded the truck wrong.

I am missing my beautiful coloured pink , blue and white 3/4 wool fall coat,I l just finished going through everything, And they stole my coat!!!Also one of the workers had a backpack leaning up against a wall with my stuff in there , No doubt they steal from people that don’t insure their move. Don’t trust movers from this company, They steal In response to the owner of Ty yende I was the only who packed my stuff or touched my stuff !! Why was that duffle bag in the back with my stuff???

I had things of great sentimental value which can't be replaced from my childhood that went missing right after the move. They set up my mattress & box spring towards one end but in the middle of the length of their truck in a L shape configuration (blocking one's view when facing the back end of the truck at it's door opening) where I had witnessed two of their workers hidden behind the fortress they created.

Absolutely the rudest movers. Parked blocking 6+ spaces instead of the loading zone and refused to to move and used foul language when asked.
